An unique place. Wine shop by day & restaurant by night! Been ordering Italian wine from them for the past couple of years, only... to find out they serve amazing foods too this time when visited Virginia Beach. Love their wine selections and the convenientwine dispensers. Read more
We visited Yiannis on a recent trip to VIrginia beach. They have a great variety of wines and little stations where you can pour... yourself different wine tastings. The space is divided into the main room and a smaller one where we sat in. It was so dark thatseveral tables used the lights on their phone to read the menu and even eat with it on. The music very lively was so loud thatyou had to halt conversations to hear the other person. The service as slow and uncoordinated. The hummus and tzatzikiappetizer was large enough for at least 4 people our waitress said it’s a good portion for 2!?! The main courses where sizeappropriate and delicious. Both of us had fish and the wine we choose was very good. I don’t think I would go back because oftheir atmosphere. Read more
Date night on a Friday, first time dining at Yiannis. Overall it was very good. Food was great, and service was excellent. My... only critique was the wine situation. They use one of those systems with the automated wine dispensers, where you walk aroundthe restaurant to different wine stations, and can order 1 oz, 3 oz, or 5 oz. pours using a card that's coded to your table. But there's no description of the wines, so you're basically shooting in the dark, unless you find a wine you already know. Yiannis should provide short editorial descriptions of each wine in their dispensers, which should be easy considering howknowledgable they are on wine. That would make it a much better experience. So bottom line, we'd go back, but not rushingback. Read more
This was truly a treat. Bobby has best of breed service. His specialty drinks were outstanding. Every dish has a very tasty... spin on them. The devil eggs has a bourbon and peach infusion. So good. The fish was fresh and amazing. We look forward to goingback soon. Read more

Thank you for being one of the the very best parts of my beautiful, intimate, precious Surprise Eightieth Birthday planned by my... children on October 15, 2022 with you. My daughter explained that I just had to be available for a six p.m. drive with her andmy young granddaughter for dinner. Soon after our arrival, my oldest son and daughter-in-law er, and grandson got there. Mydaughter’s boyfriend joined the party, much to my joy, too. Our waiter was wonderful, engaging, knowledgeable about everyfacet of the menu. Everything was joyful, the food delicious, the ambiance delightful, and the staff fabulous.
