Asked waitress to surprise me. Made me the Alambres plate! DELICIOUS! Loved the chips and salsa! Thanks for a great meal.

I went out to dinner with my family. I ordered the carnitas plate and it was delicious. They also had a bar cart going around... the restaurant making special adult drinks. I ordered a pineapple margarita and it was delicious. I loved the experience. Read more

Not a good first experience. Waited 50 minutes to get a table, waited 20 minutes for waitress, another 30 minutes for our food.... Ordered piña colada and margarita, both were sweet with no taste of liquor. Waitress didn?t check up on us, manager came byinstead but was when we were almost done eating. Fajitas tasted steamed and not grilled as they should. Specialty burrito hadonly beans and rice with meat outside of it. Nothing special about this place. Will not come back. Read more

Tarasco on Main St has always been great and they still are however there?s a gentleman who walks around in there with a little... cart asking if you would like guacamole or shots. Well be aware, we told him yes to guacamole and he gave us a medium size trayof guacamole for 5 adults which finished fast and clearly not enough for 5 adults. Here?s the shady part, when we got our bill,a 17.99 charge was added to our bill for a ?Guacamole Show?, and believe me when I say there was no show at all. Then to top itoff, we had left him a decent tip thinking that?s what he?s working for. So please be aware of him because he does this withoutmentioning anything about them tagging the ?Show to our bill?. Read more

The dipping sauce is not spicy almost taste like the canned sauces. Not my favorite but not the worst. Beans not salty or... bitter. Their rice was a bit dry but not the worst rice I?ve tasted. Their strawberry daiquiri was a bit too strong for myliking definitely couldn?t drink it. The enchiladas tarascas made with mole sauce were disappointing. Mole was almost flavorlessto me no spice seemed as though it was the Maria mole from the jar and the chicken in it was worse than the teriyaki chickenfrom Jack in the box . Their pozole was actually not bad definitely something I would enjoy during this cold weather. Theirchicken Alambres were my top pick of my visit there?. Overall not the worst not the best, waitress definitely was on top of itwhen it came to caring for her table guests. Read more

All I have to say, is that their carne asada is actually grilled steak that's been chopped up, which speaks volumes for a... Mexican restaurant. Most places get by with pre-chopped beef cooked on a flat grill but here at El Tarasco, they know how to doit right. My props to whoever is cooking in that kitchen!! All of our food that came out looked amazing. My wet burritosurpassed my expectations. Aside from that, it didn't look like they had a host seating people and you kind of have to justwait for a one of the wait staff to be available to set a table and seat you. I know alot of places are short staffed so that'sto be expected. Just be prepared to wait a little while to be seated, even if there are tables open. Read more

My husband and I ate here Saturday night for dinner. We both ordered a couple of beers. To our dismay we paid for a half filled... glasses... When we asked the waitress, she replied with ?well that?s what happens when you asked for salt on the rim.? Withattitude and all, never trying to fix it and walked away. So take heed and don?t ask for salt on the rim, or maybe they justneed to know how to pour a beer. HA! As we waited for our food we asked for a second basket of chips from another waitress, onlyto be told, ?if I bring you a second one, there will be a charge.? My husband told her forget it. When a waiter came around withour food, I asked him about the chips, he told us, ? I can bring you more chips, no problem. It depends on the waitress.? Sureenough he was more pleasant maybe those waitresses need to take pointers from him and be more on the same page, when it come tothe charge of chips. Were they busy? NO. Were they short handed? NO. Food was pricey and the service could have been handledbetter. Just so sad and disappointed, we have eaten here many times with no issues or ATTITUDES. It was a huge fail. Will wereturn? Probably NOT. Read more
