My first visit was in 1961. My last visit was around the year 2000. When I ordered a turkey sandwich, and received a disgusting... mostly mayonnaise sandwich . The sandwich maker couldn't be bothered with a do-over, or anything of significance to make asatisfied customer, so I haven't been back since, and therefore do NOT recommend this business. Read more
The wishing well is cool and the picnic tables are neat but I?m pretty sure I got food poisoning eating a ?veggie? burger from... this place. I?m curious to see the packaging of whatever they sold me because I?m not sure what it was but I was the only one toeat food from there and that was the only thing different in my diet and well I have been very sick all week and last night wasthe worst yet which is why I am making a review. The fries also seem as if they were double fried. They just weren?t good atall. I ate the food because I was really hungry and my son and dad had ice cream but overall I would not recommend this place atall. To top it all off I was waiting in line with my son and an older man and his father(?) cut right in front of us as if wedidn?t even exist. Overall not a great experience at all. Read more
Great old school place for some of or all your classics. Very affordable too. The is just what you need if you want something... fast but tired of the fastfood chain restaurants. You can take the whole family and spend about $40, that's including getting afew frosty treats too if you know how to budget your order. I've been coming here since I was in elementary, mid eighties. It'schanged very little, a few parking lot, patio improvements. It's a four star, could be a five, in my opinion, if the owner wereto invest in sharpening up the place, not change the building but just fix up what it needs to shine again like new. Read more
This shop has been around since before I was born. It's a local must-visit, a definite attribute to the city center, and a... wonderful reminder of the simpler times in Vista. Do NOT miss out on Peppertree Frosty. It won't disappoint. Read more
This place has a lot of variety for cheap prices. The portions are just right. I love the selection they have. Can get busy but... it?s chill. The girl who attended me was rude and not friendly. Best ice cream shop in all of Vista. As someone who has lived here all my life, I have so many memories of summer nights and... post game hang outs here. The menu hasn?t changed (cause if it ain?t broke?) and the prices have barely gone up. Everything isdelicious. But be warned, they won?t chocolate dip a medium cone. ???? Read more
Selection was awesome. I had a basic chocolate dipped large cone. The vanilla soft serve was amazing the chocolate dip is what... you'd expect. Nice serving sizes. The cake cone could've been better. Will definitely be back to try some other items fruitsmoothies, strawberry shortcake, waffle cones, so many shake flavors and floats don't know what to pick next. Read more
