Felt like sushi and found this place through DoorDash, only half a mile away from our hotel, plus pretty decent reviews on here.... Placed the order and scored with almost $19 discount on a current promo DoorDash is running, total came out to $61.61. We gotthe crunchy, Philly, rainbow, shake 'n bake, spicy CA rolls and sushi burrito, everything was tasty! My husband who's not a bigfan of sushi or anything fishy loved them too. This place was fire. We loved it. The food was so fresh and made to perfection. We went because we were delivering down in... carlsbad and needed something to eat. I'm hesitant to say how much I loved this place because I would like to avoid the crowd, but DAAAAMN. The menu alone made it... NEARLY impossible to decide, but I have no regret ordering the Firestone Roll. If you can't order it through delivery, it'sworth the trip inside. Plenty of space. Lots of air and great staff. We were excited to try this place....very dissapointed. Portion sizes are small, especially for the prices. The sashimi salad... had very little fish ($20). This location is ideal if you're staying at the Marriott 10ft behind it. The items I ordered were made with care and... appreciation for the ingredients. Great food and service. Good beer selection. The Black Magic roll is really good, but beware the habanaro slice on top.
