Great place for a burger and fries. Onion rings are great, and the fried zucchini are the best (thick and lightly battered). We... typically order thru the drive thru, but recently we ate in, and we're glad we did! Not sure how long they've had this, but theyhave a robot that delivers your food to your table! Our kids were blown away. Only reason I don't give it 4 stars is b/c theyusually take longer to provide the food, but hey, it speaks freshly made. If you have kids, take them here at least for theexperience of seeing the robot. Read more
Tom's Famous Family Restaurant #24 is easy to find, sitting streetside in a small plaza. Walking in, I noticed first that the... place looked clean... Almost sterile. I was surprised right away to see a three-foot tall robot talking and delivering mealsfrom the open kitchen to the dining room! How fun is that?! We ordered at the counter. A QR on our chosen table didn't work, butthe one at the register gave online access to the menu. Of course, a menu sign hung over the waffle-House-style kitchen forthose who preferred it. Prices were fairly reasonable and we paid in advance at the counter. I didn't leave a tip on the bill,assuming we'd be served by R2D2. But it was a human who served coffee and soda to our table. Shortly after, two piping hotbreakfast plates appeared. The food was fresh and well cooked, but I prefer a bit more seasoning on the eggs and hashbrowns. Mybiscuits and gravy was delicious and the chicken-fried steak; tender and tasty, properly smothered in gravy. Service wasreasonably good, although I had to walk to the counter to ask for ketchup, only to be told to scavenge it from another table. Idid leave a tip in the tip jar. All in all, worth a visit! Friendly staff and fast service. This spot is great for dining in but also offers take-out and a drive-thru. They serve good... coffee and keep your cup full. The portions are large for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. If you want a little of everything,ask for the Totally Tom's breakfast special (if they are still offering it). They recently got a food delivery robot (BellaBot)which adds a little extra fun and excitement. The kids get a kick out of it every time! She brings your order right to the tableand can navigate the whole restaurant with patrons. Read more
got the sampler app (fries, onion rings & zucchini fries) fries were ok, onion rings were super burnt but I ate most of them... anyway, you can still see 1 1/2 left (they were all just as burnt or more) zucchini fries weren?t great, that is all beside thepoint though because I just bit into a massive hair, yum. This was my first time having lunch here. I ordered the steak salad on a whim. It was GOOD the vegetables were fresh and crispy... the steak was tender. My husband had some giant bacon burger and he said it was fantastic. Is a local spot and I will be goinghere again. Definitely worth a try. Read more
Good burger, pancakes, and a robot. We just popped in to this local diner on whim. While ordering at the counter, I noticed an... odd looking piece of tech in the kitchen where cooked were briskly walking around it. You?ll find no fanfare about the robotworking here.
