Good food. The main bartender can appear like he has little to no personality but once you have a few drinks and get him going... he is funny. Shelley has sold her soul to the devil I'm convinced with how good her food is. I don't think I've had a bad mealyet. The Saturday ribs and seafood special I get is a great deal for what you get. The German menu is awesome as well. She isone of the only, If not the only place to offer an actual salad bar. Would recommend. Read more
If you want to me made to feel uncomfortable as you wait 1 1/2 hours for a cold fish fry when it's not at full capacity this is... definitely your place! Oh and the free entertainment of unprofessionalism as the owner yells at her bartender Dave for trying totake care of patrons in a timely manner. Next person who wants to leave a hefty tip maybe just bring the owner some extra hingesfor the front door since it may not work so well from her slamming it and making a scene. Read more

Absolutely wonderful place. If you are gluten free you have to come here. I had the gf walleye fried and it was amazing. The non... gf people in our group were reading about their food as well. Good service. Very friendly. And seriously good gf food. Read more
We tried the smoked menu items. The ribs were great! Glad I only ordered 1/2 rack. As usual the soup & salad bar was a treat,... everything was fresh made. We will be back! Read more
Good food horrible service! Male bartender should not be behind a bar. Can't keep up with 15 patrons in the bar. He kept... ignoring us. We thought our money was no good. I thought I was going to have to go make my own drink and for the rest of thebar.... Bartender also ignored us when we wanted to pay our bill. Others had the same issue. Shelly was horribly rude whenasked a question about the food. Very snotty response!! We gave them three chances and the service kept getting worse and worse.Too bad because the food is very good! I've personally work in the bar/food service business in the past where I was the onlyperson behind the bar and cooking. I am very understanding with when it is busy. You can have a bad experience and that is whywe continued to give them a chance. No more! If you do go, I hope you have a lot of time to kill because there is no such thingas fast at this establishment. If your not a local, don't bother. Read more
Wow, a hidden gem of a full service restaurant. Menu has daily specials plus a whole page of German dishes to choose from. ... They even have make to order pizza. Dinners include a soup and salad bar with homemade soup and pasta salads. The spinachdip is to die for. The staff is warm and friendly, giving the restaurant a home like feel.
