Tender Tuesday from this location is usually more batter than chicken, I had no idea what they lady taking my order was talking... about as she rambled on about nothing related to my order, and the drive through always smells like sewer. Luckily they are inthe process of building a new one directly behind this one and will hopefully bulldoze the current one & get some better staff. Read more
Food is good but the workers do not really have a clue sometimes. Once we had one that thought all chicken meat was the same.... She didn't know the difference in white meat and dark meat. She had to go ask someone else if there was such a thing because shedidn't believe us. Read more
I ordered two 4 tender meals and 12 gizzard meal. Payed almost $40 what I got was some over cooked gizzards like chewing rubber... with very soggy fries. My tender meals only had two tenders each that looked as small as chicken nuggets. No gravy in the meals.I tried calling several times and the phone kept going to an answering service. Worst service ever from a Bush's Chicken and I have eaten at all of them in and around Waco. Last night at 9:21 P.M. we ordered... a 6 piece chicken tenders that was to come with a roll and a gravy and a three piece all white, my wife told her she wanted 2breast and a wing. The lady known only to us as Cashier #3 kept repeating my wife's order and each time would get somethingwrong, meanwhile my wife grew more and more upset with her. She finally repeated it correctly then told me it would be about$24 so I gave her a twenty and a five. When she returned she gave me back my change and the food. What I received was fivesmall tenders and one normal size, a roll and no gravy, my wife got two thighs and a wing. My wife then told me to go back, sheis not eating what she did not order. The same girl came out and my wife told her the problems with her order and the waitresscomplained saying that it would cost her more money. My wife told her just to take the food and bring her at least on breastand a wing, which she did. I asked the lady how much for just one breast and she said two dollars so I paid her and she broughtthe chicken out to my wife. I didn't notice the gravy missing on my order until after I left. I phoned the number on thereceipt but it said the mailbox was full so I couldn't even leave a message and there was no website mentioned at all. That iswhy I am using this medium to make my statement of very poor service and state that I'm wondering if she wasn't high onsomething. Very sad either way. Read more
I never thought I would say Bush's was subpar. But today, Bush's was subpar... a sad day indeed. They got our order correct and... the service was fast and friendly. But something in the oil tasted off. Not like old grease but off. Not sure what was wrongtoday. And the lemonade was mixed so strong you could taste the powder they used. Sorry Bush's but today was bad. I will tryagain when you get the restaurant built, maybe today you were just off your game due to the construction. Read more
The food was fresh not an issue , The issue was they forgot my SIDES . I live in country area about 26 mins out & I didn't check... bag till i was home with the family to come to find out i had my chicken and gizzard but NONE of my sides . Very upset because ihave a family to feed. If someone can get back to me with this issue . i called store and no answer. Thank You Are server weasvery nice . Read more
Everytime we go to Bush's Chicken we never have left overs. With every meal they always seem to give extra pieces and believe me... there are no complaints in this house as every bite is eaten. Chicken is always juicy and the crust crispy. The gravy is theperfect compliment to the crinkle fries and the tender sweet biscuits are amazing. We have tried other chicken places andnothing compares to Bush's. Also did I mention how friendly the staff is? They always make sure your meal is done and packed upquickly and never let us go without making sure we get any condiments. Great food, good price and quick service. Not yourtypical fast food.
