I used to go here all the time and the staff would be really short and rude. I stayed away for a few months. But I went in... there today and it seems that they have new people or maybe just those people aren?t working there anymore. But everyone isreally nice and professional and I was really impressed. We stopped while shopping in Waco and it was absolutely delicious. When you first enter its a little weird because there is no... directions on the process. So we just followed the people standing in line with the trays it's kinda like cafeteria style unlessyou just want something from the bakery and they you order that from a separate line. Once we placed out order they give you anumber and bring the food to you once it's done. I must say the balsamic Salmon is delicious ???? ???? I also bought a box ofcookies to take home and they are amazing and worth the money. Definitely a great place to stop for a meal. Read more
I saw this place while in town for a wedding and thought it looked really good. It was definitely a great choice as the food was... absolutely amazing, especially the muffins and danishes. All of it was excellent. The only thing I wish they would have had wasa better crepe selection. I really enjoy some savory crepes, but they only had two options. I took my dear mother here and she enjoyed her brunch today. If you like a place that's not to loud with a beautiful scenery and... a nice eating spot to have this would be the place. There's plenty of tables and it's affordable to say the least i was willingto spend more than 100$ on two people but you can take 4 people with that. I loved the deserts . And the coffee is brewed finelyand has a calming taste that you would expect for a cup of coffee . It's a relaxing atmosphere I'm general. The only thing is ifyour new like me u walk in not knowing where to order but they have a stand with menus and u take one choose ur seating. MY granddaughter and I were out shopping and she suggested that we go to La Madeleine's to eat one of their sweet pastries. So... we ventured inside this French Cafe located inside the Central Texas market place shopping Center to find that despite it beingbetween meals at around 3:30pm or so that this quaint little French cafe was still quite busy. the dining room did have a fewempty tables but not very many for the time of day the empty tables were neat and clean and prepared for the next customer.waitress staff was very busy attending to customers but we're not too busy to stop and greet us with a smile. my granddaughterand I waited in line to get up to the counter to place our order where my granddaughter ordered a chocolate croissant and formyself I ordered coconut cream cake. price was average service was good however the food on the other hand was outstanding, justsimply amazing. both my granddaughter and I said on the patio eating what was literally the best coconut cream cake I've everhad the pleasure of placing in my mouth. The taste of our food was so much more than one could ever possibly even hope for.Dessert at La Madeleine's will most definitely leave you craving more. MY granddaughter and I, very much enjoyed our unexpectedstop in at La Madeleine's and I can very honestly say that I will most definitely be making more stops here to enjoy all thatthis French Cafe has to offer. This is one of my favorite little brunch spots! The food is always good and fresh. The last couple of times I went they were... short staffed, but still provided great service. It's clean and perfect for a cute date or light lunch. I would highly recommendif you just want something filling, but not heavy. Read more
