Arrived at 8:05p.m. Got seated at 8:15p.m. wich I was happy for as they weren't that busy. We sat there until 8:30p.m before I... had to get up and ask for a waiter or waitress. The sweet lady at front asked a waiter that was on our side if he could help usthat we have been here for quite some time without being even asked for our drink order. The waiter responded to her with "theydon't like it...the can leave" very rude to the lady that asked him. She came to our table nearly in tears and was superapologetic and said she'd get someone soon. We then got a waitress that helped take our order at 8:40. It is now 9:59 and stillhave not received food. There is literally only 2 tables at this time! The worst service I have ever experienced. Drove fromlampasas to eat at this place as the one in seguin is my wife's favorite where she grew up, so we decided to drive to waco toget her favorite dish. She received her chicken Ranchero tacos and she opened them up and one of the tacos had soggy chips in itand tiny amount of chicken. The waitress was very embarrassed. The other taco was very delicious as the carnitas were amazingtoo! Very clean establishment and food was pretty good as well. Amazing! Tried this place for the first time yesterday. Waitress Myrea was phenomenal! Recommend the stuffed avocado and omg!... I?m hooked! It?s was delicious! I?m honestly thinking about going to get it again today lol! Chips and red salsa and green salsawere great! The margarita on the rocks was good! Everything was awesome! Highly recommend! Read more

The fried avocado chicken cheese balls are amazing, I've never tasted anything quite like it! The drinks are good and strong. ... Service is okay. They missed one of our entrees entirely, it never made it out, despite repeated asking and assurances that themissing meal would be arriving shortly, they did eventually remove it from the bill so at least we didn't have to pay for foodwe didn't get to eat. I really like this restaurant, the atmosphere was unique, the employees were unusually friendly, the manager was everywhere... helping maintain the restaurant's vitality. The enchiladas have a very unique taste, more on the cilantro side. The red hotsauce was warm, had some black chunks in it. Not to bad, the Dr pepper was sweet and good. Prices were a little higher than Icare to pay. Read more
Pretty Much Best Mexican food around and have never been disappointed with anything ordered off the menu ever. Great Staff that... treat you like family which makes it worth going and our favorite Hot spot in town! Always looking forward to going back. Read more
We showed up at around 6:45, and didn't get a table since 7:30, but we also weren't in a rush, since we were waiting for our... family to show up. (Party of 6) The chips and salsa were really good. The chips themselves felt pretty thin, but when scoopinga bunch of salsa, it held it's weight. I wish there was more salt on the chips, but then again, not everyone's blood pressure isthe same, so it's understandable. Now our food. Had hoped for experience like in College Station several years back. Was really craving a deep fried stuffed avocado. Not... today. We entered and were seated after several minutes asxthe hostess was busy fooling with a computer screen....a waitressfinally came buy and seated us. Our waitess came to take our drink orders very quick. I ordered a very, very dirty DirtyMartini.... She repeated a Berry Martini... I said and said very slow... Id like a very, very dirty, Dirty Martini. She saidahhh a Dirty Berry Martini. I repeated once more even slower. She got it right???? Went off to get our drinks, returnedquickly and asked how to make a Dirty Martini since bartender had never made one. I said 2 parts Titos Vodka, 1 part DryVermouth and lots of olive juice...put it in a shaker, shake and serve with olives.... She said anything on the rim ? Shouldveleft...justvlaughed and said no. She came back and said they did not have vermouth. Oh well...she brought a bar menu....thehad a drink made with Wild Turkey. I ordered 2 shots of Wild Turkey and 1 ice cube. Was specific...I dont want the drink onthe menu. Yeah....got my W.T. double with 1 cube. Took our food order...wife ordered large chicken tort. soup. I ordered deepfried avacafo, stuffed with beef fajitas + a chicken enchillada + rice + refried beans that came with a small tortillasoup. The food came VERY quick.... They should have kept it a little longer...youll see in a minute. Wifes soup was smokinghot...lots of chicken and a huge bowl. Mine was "warm to cool"...the salsa theyd given us,with chips was actually hotter thananything in my plate. I told the waitress my food was barely warm. She said "Im sorry" and wandered off.
