Highly disappointed with my visit last night. I walked in and the restaurant was only at half capacity full, and was told it was... a 30 to 35 minute wait, I decided to go ahead and take my chance. Within 15 minutes a homeless person comes inside and sitsdown beside me, and explains how he's been homeless for 8 weeks and was looking for money so he could get a place for the night,he eventually left after 5 or so minutes, then when the couple beside me, went up to the hostess station and asked to speak tothe manager, it took her over 5 minutes to come to the front when I know she was called at least 3 times. When I heard her arguewith the couple saying they hadn't been waiting for an hour, I approached the desk and explained I'd been there over 40 min andknew they were there before me. Rule number 1, do NOT argue with the customer. So after hearing her say that, I asked that myname be removed because I would NOT give my money to a place that treats customers in such a way. I realize they were shortstaffed that evening (8 Oct 2022) but it goes to show, your team is only as strong as its leaders and that maybe no one wants towork for her. Read more
We went today for my birthday and was advised that there would be a one hour late , I would like to say the manager was very... open and professional and realistic about the situation, he let us know they had three servers only . We chose to wait , as Iwatched other customers he remained professional and even went to clean tables to help . Our waitress was amazing, she wasprompt, not rushed , even though we knew she was one of two servers. We do value her and did let her know. Food was great ! Iknow several industries are short staffed . However, Red Lobster and staff handled it as best as they could. To the corporateassociates perhaps send help to your Waco Tx location set them up for success. Read more
Lobster feast is a joke. It is advertised on TV. We went to eat and unfortunately waitress said it "was no longer Lobster... feast" but still being advertised. Called 2 weeks later inquiring if Lobster Feast was still available (still being advertisedon TV). I was put on hold for 18min. because the host had to inquire because she knew nothing. Called back after 18min. being onhold, the Host was clueless. I called the corporate office and have been on hold for 13min. Battery at 25% soon have to hang upwithout no human contact. Staff was super friendly great service and food was good. Wait time was a bit long.
