It was my first time back after the remodeling was complete. I love Sam's and the remaining staff was and is awesome. I have... been going to Sam's for about four years. When I ordered my usual and sat down to eat. I WAS HORRIFIED!!! What happened? Theycut the portions and changed the type of fish they usually served. I am sadden that the quality was compromised, yet they wentup in price. I get it! Changes are necessary, but the quality isn't there. Read more
The red beans and rice were yumm! Def the best catfish I've had since I have gotten here. The Mac and cheese was a bit... disappointing. My kid definitely enjoyed it as it was pretty creamy; however, for me, it lacked a bit. Lisa, the server, was friendly and attentive. Will Def go back to try the crabcakes. I would recommend this place if you are craving a whole catfishas I was! Definitely NEED to bring back the stuff shrimp listed on the outside. The prices, as you can see, are not badeither. The catfish and shrimp were wonderful! The filets were nearly 12? in length. I?ve never had better hush puppies. We chose Mac n... cheese and red beans and rice for sides; Yum! Of course I love the hot sauce on everything! The portions are more than we couldeat. So, so good! Read more
Very friendly service. The food was very fresh and hot. Fried green tomatoes are awesome. Large portions, well worth the price.... Large shrimp and oysters great flavors. Grilled fish was the best I have had. I will be back. Read more
