Found this place on Google maps just looking for somewhere fairly healthy. When we drove up & saw it was in a tiny little strip... center we wondered if it would be good. But, you never know- sometimes a little "dive" can be great. Well this place isdefinitely worth a try! Friendly staff- EXCELLENT food & although the furnishings are simple it's clean, comfortable andpleasant. I will definitely come here again when in Waco! Read more

This little cafe has some charm, the place was clean, the cashier/server was nice and the food came out promptly. They have some... unique recipes on their menu, and while I really liked my caprese avocado, the other food I ordered (tomato basil soup, chickentortilla soup, and chicken pesto sandwich) didn't really "wow" me. The portions felt relatively small for the price I paid, thesoup in particular just tasted like what I could get at a supermarket. This place is definitely worth a try, nothing tasted badand I had a good experience; I'll be coming back again to try more of the menu! Read more

Great food and great customer service! Due to an autoimmune disease, it is a challenge to find restaurant food that is on my... limited diet. The Mix had healthy options for me and it tasted soooooo good! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate myneeds and did it with a smile! I had the California Girl burrito on corn tortillas with a side of fruit--delicious! I highlyrecommend and we will certainly make this a new favorite in Waco. Read more

The place was quite busy whine inwas there during theunch rush and yet my order was 100% correct and it was hot and fresh and i... didn't even wait that long. I was super impressed with how they handled all the stress of the lunch rush. Alexis was a greatfriendly cashier who told me honestly about her favorites. Jonathan made sure we had everything at our table and that our orderswere correct! Absolutely incredible customer service. The place was clean and the food was incredible. Hands down THE BEST SWEETPOTATO FRIES I HAVE EVER HAD!! I will definitely be coming back soon for more fries! The grilled chicken pesto was also superdelicious. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a small local cafe with great food and service! Read more

Three stars for now, but to be clear, we WILL be returning to try more menu items and give them a chance to redeem... themselves. Okay, so now that that's out of the way, the reason for the three stars. When we walked in, the atmosphere wasdelightful. The place was a little small compared to the outside, although it does share the complex with two other buildings. Isuppose the meeting room takes up a lot of space. Okay. When we arrived, the guy at the register was friendly and offeredrecommendations, but as soon as we went to sit down, he looked bored and miserable. They were out of quiche for the day but Ilet this slide on the account that we DID visit at 1 PM, after the normal brunch rush dies down. I ordered the pick two combo, but to my disappointment, they were out of grilled asparagus, so I ordered a half salmon sandwich and grilled artichokes. My dadgot the Turkey Chipotle sandwich with a side of the sea salt fries. We ordered a chicken martina sandwich to-go for mysister. Food came out rather quickly, but what came was slightly disappointing. The ratio of bun-to-fish on my sandwich wasslightly off, in my opinion. There was a lot more bun than fish. It was stated on the menu that the bun would be wheat, but itdidn't say honey-wheat. The bun was too sweet for me so I just took my salmon off of it to eat it with a fork. The grilledartichokes weren't fresh from whole artichokes, they were the marinated hearts that come in jars. I happen to love those, but Ididn't love the fact that there was salt added to them on top of the salt that the artichokes come in. The added salt gave me asmall stomach ache afterwards, not the fault of the café. Props to them for cooking the salmon flawlessly, though. A lot ofplaces don't do that. My dad said that the sea-salt fries weren't salty enough, and he said that he could hardly taste hischipotle mayo, and he even tried dunking his fries into it. He did appreciate the fact that the sandwich came with a side ofpick Read more
