I seriously think this is the worst service I’ve ever had. It was a busy night, but that is no excuse for absolutely zero... service or acknowledgement. We were at this restaurant for an hour and a half, and we were not served once in that time. Ourwaitress walked by us a few times, but did not respond to us. We had to get up and go inside to order our drinks, food,condiments, a box, and pay. The waitress didn’t even come outside at all for about the last half-hour, and all customers wereforced to get up and go inside just to be able to pay and leave. No one even apologized when we paid. We could have easilywalked out without paying, but luckily my fiancé is nicer than me. Read more
I've been here a handful of times over the years. It never disappoints. Vandy's is welcoming to golfers and more importantly the... non golfers looking for dining. They accommodate families, small groups and i've even attended a wedding here. Read more
More and more disappointed every time we’ve eaten there. The last three times I’ve been there there’s been issues with... food. The food was so bad to the point where I had to send it back. I was served raw salmon, metal wire in the chicken Alfredoand I was served a moldy bun with my burger. The first two issues the manager was very prompt, very nice and we were taken careof. This last time with the moldy bun, no manager came out to speak to us. After three times in a row served food that had to besent back I do not see myself returning. Read more
First, I’d like to say that the staff and service at Vandy’s is exceptional. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable on... my dietary restrictions (celiacs). However, this is at least our third or fourth time giving the food a chance. Each time wehave sent our meals back because they are inedible. My husband ordered the Tennessee hot fried chicken sandwich (pictured). Hetook one bite and couldn’t eat anymore. It was a frozen, thin, dry breaded chicken patty that was drenched in DRY seasoning.So much seasoning you could literally blow it off. It looked repulsive and tasted repulsive. I ordered a $16 burger that cameout with a still frozen gluten free bun and a clearly pre frozen patty. If I’m paying $16 for a burger, at least make sure thepatty is freshly made not frozen. McDonald’s makes a better burger. Unfortunately, we will not be ordering food from thereagain. Made reservations for our 42nd anniversary expressing that we wanted this to be a special occasion. When we arrived there was no... receptionist and told to seat ourselves. There were several tables that had nice views but they hadn't been bussed and we're atotal mess. We were disappointed but stuck it out figuring it couldn't get worse. We placed our drink order which took nearly 15minutes to get... The bartender was busy trying to impress one of her patrons. The food was good even if the selection was VERYlimited. We thought that our waitress was a bit new and she had roughly alf of the tables to wait on. To say that we weredisappointed is really an understatement. The place really doesn't live up to its hype. I had my wedding reception dinner at Vandy’s Grille/Island View Golf Club. It was such a great experience, and Chelsea was... wonderful to work with! I had to change my date 3x due to Covid, and they were always very flexible and easy going with anychanges. The space looked great, the food was fantastic, and the staff was very attentive. The owner, Kory, is frequently visiting with the guests. The food is seasoned well and the menu has the right combination of... unique and common choices and are delicious. The homemade chips are great well. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Wejust had the walleye sandwich and burger with pulled pork. Yum! Read more
