My first and second time were great. Excellent and quick service, great tasting Curry Chicken, Oxtail, Meat pie, large portion.... Last two times I went were totally different. They were out of curry chicken, they were out of meat pie, very slow service, and tiny portion for the price. Today, I went to get me an oxtail plate, paid 26 dollars for mostly bones, barely meat. I wasgoing to let the staff know for his situational awareness bit he was in the back making curry chicken because they ran outagain. I'm going to try it one more time sometime and see if I get a Zero Star Service. Mahalo Read more
Do NOT go here !! You have been warned. Rice was mushy, served me Mac salad (unseasoned) out a beach cooler. Which was probably... unsafe. None of the meats were upfront in the serving stations. The rice was mushy and over cooked but the peas inside the ricewas undercooked yes RAW! The oxtails I ordered came from the back microwave and were ice cold when I opened my food in the car.Nothing was fresh, seasoned or good and I should?ve known when I walked into a ?Jamaican? restaurant and smelt absolutelyNOTHING. If your looking for authentic Jamaica food, Jrs Jamaican Jerk is best Jamaican restaurant on the island. The food was delicious... and authentic! I was impressed with the experience very warm and welcoming environment. The entire menu is amazing, I Highlyrecommend the oxtail plate, jerk chicken, and curry goat. We ordered food from them the first time tonight and they were out of a few things because it was an hour before closing. The... guy serving recommended to go early because there would be more of a variety. ordered curry goat, white rice and macaroni andcheese. The goat was good but full of bones to pick through. It was spicy but not too bad, I was still able to enjoy the flavorof my food. I was very disappointed in the Mac and cheese. It looked really good but It taste like it had been over cooked orburned possibly. It was not seasoned at all. My husband had the jerk chicken and it was decent. In my opinion it did not tastelike true authentic Jamaican food. But with us being away from the mainland, it?ll do. Don?t go with high expectations and youwon?t find yourself disappointed. Read more

Looks delicious but very heavy with the spicy seasoning. Can?t really enjoy it when the edges of your mouth is on fire. Rice was... decent not as fluffy and soft. cabbage was good. Chicken texture was a little dry and the spicy ness over took the whole flavor.I?d recommend the chicken be seasoned for a couple hours and grilled. Overall 6/10 Prices are a little up there aswell. Disgusting! If you are Jamaican or ever been to a real Jamaican restaurant you will hate this place! Real Jamaican restaurants... have real Jamaican sides not Mac salad regardless of the location. The rice was not even good. Another review said that it wasmushy. I agree! The Mac and cheese is always burnt. I did not take pictures, but other people have posted it in their reviews.They don?t sell any Jamaican drinks just coke products. The curry chicken tasted bland. The plantains was burnt. The brown stewchicken tasted like it was missing browning. It tasted like they substituted it with W sauce. It was also bland. Service wasgood, but that was the only thing. They also gave us a decent serving size. I?m not trying to be rude, but the food is reallygross and idk how they are still in business.
