Best bang for your buck, food was great!
My family and I and Went to dine in and got a waitress by the name of ?Leirieana? extremely friendly and very attentive, my food... was a little burnt (I ordered a hamburger steak). I did not want to complain seeing she was the only server in at the time yetshe went out of her way to make sure I had a new plate and this time cooked right! She was such a sweet girl and my family and Ireally appreciated how she went above and beyond to Make sure all our needs were met. I definitely recommend going to thisestablishment just for the amazing service. (Hamburger steak wasn?t the greatest. But the oxtail soup was delicious) (sherecommended we get the oxtail and the Korean chicken) went with both recommendations and they were outstanding! Convenient location. Near the Wahiawa General Hospital. Food today was tasty but that depends on what you order. I knew dish... like the bee tomato on Wednesday January 6th it's not one of my favorite combinations of flavors. Read more
Zippy's is our go-to place to eat when we want a sit down breakfast with a lot of different choices or when we want to eat out... without limiting our choices to burgers, pizza, or a particular cuisine. Zippy's is not a high end place to eat and is more ofa chill out and enjoy local favorites without having to dress up or strain your wallet too much. The prices are sort of middlebracket but can run higher than some specialty restaurants depending on what you order. The food is not gourmet by any means. I'd describe their offerings as more like comfort food, especially for those of us who grew up in Hawaii and are very familiarwith Zippy's chili, saimin, Zip Packs, etc. Check out the menu and you will get an idea of what they offer and theprices. What I like about Zippy's is some of the locations have long-time staff still working for them. Cory, at the Wahiawalocation has probably been there longer than anyone else working there. You will find her down to earth and friendly with awicked sense of humor at times. We like her a lot and were lucky enough to have her table today. Read more
