A pretty unexpected place to find some good classic Asian projects and snacks. I was happy to find some dorayaki in there! They... also have bentos and have a catering menu that expands their options. Don?t forget to sign up for their rewards card. I?m gladthat I did! Read more

I came here because one of my relatives had hyped this place up, and boy, I am glad I did! I got there a little after the lunch... rush started, but the wait was not terrible. I ordered a plate lunch and was impressed by the different dishes that wereoffered. Most of it was pretty good (the pork and eggplant was swimming in oil however) and it was a lot cheaper than I expectedit to be. The store is very cool, offering a wide selection of various items for seemingly reasonable prices. I came here on mylast day on the island, but I have no doubt that I will return to TJ's once I return to Maui. Read more

This is a small grocery store with diverse inventory. They have a small aisle of Japanese imported snack/pantry items, aisle of... restaurant supplies, only place with preserved plums without food coloring. There is a small area with bentos and otherprepared items ready for take out. Do you need some fresh cooked rice? They have that. Musubi? Got it. Chicken bento? Delicious. Some fruit, vegi and tofu? yup. Got that too. Some mochi? Choose from those in the imported aisle or local in thecooked food aisle. Most importantly, if you need a natto fix, this is the only place to get it on Maui. People are friendlyhere. Place is small, but they have the basics covered, so breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack, this place will have what youneed. Read more

Big Japanese market, especially for a small island. Very nice selection of staples and canned goods and freshly made bento. Not... a big selection of produce though. Fresh poké, deli counter and paper products. Helpful, friendly employees. Plenty of parking, just a little bit out of the way. Read more
