Food is tasty but horrendously overpriced (even for Hawaii). I spent $12 for a McDonald?s-sized burger. Just to add fries is... another $7. It?s near the nicer hotels, so they must just assume they can charge more and apparently it?s working just fine forthem. My husband and I spent $30 there then had to go somewhere else to actually eat. Read more
Great place to stop north of Hapuna Beach. Food was great, Hawaiian burger, double cheeseburger, malt and garlic fries are a... must! Tammy and Jerry are amazing people, and gave us a great history lesson of the island. Highly recommend this cute stop tograb a bite. Read more

Suuuper tasty burgers. Worth the price and although the portions arent mainland/Midwestern sized-the taste cant be beat! We... had the Maui rootbeer floats with our amazing burgers and perfect fries....can not complain. The staff is super helpful andvery informative. Seating is available inside with some wait time. Be warned...Surf Burger next door is where your food will bedelivered from but you must order in person inside of Kohala Burger and Taco. Read more
Wife and I had there beef tacos with rice and beans. Was amazing. Soooo, flavorful! Sorry no pics of food, I was hungry and the... food was so good it didnt last long on my plate. Prices are spot on, (compared to the high prices resort food) and thelady(maybe owner) taking our order is a sweetheart. Even sat with us for a bit. This place really brought me back to mychildhood with the comics and old school candy in front of the shop. Will be on my stops when I am back on the bigIsland. Thanks again for the amazing food!!
