Wonderful food and service. Been here before and it didn't disappoint. The menu was changed to a Three Course Price Fixe Menu... for $95/pp but the food was delicious with generous portions. Will definitely go back when we're on Kona again. Went to theMerriman's on Maui which was not worth it. This is by far the better restaurant. Read more
Awesome experience at merrimans for lunch. The best burger I've had in a long time and the roasted potatoes were incredible. ... The Keiko menu didn't work for my son but he ate of our plates. The Greek salad with prawns was amazing with the shrimpperfectly cooked. I hope we can return again this trip. Read more

Annette took great care of us and we got to sit right next to thekitchen and watch the flames - AMAZING!!!! I had such a wonderful meal here for my Cousin's birthday! Everything was amazing. The host is very gracious and welcoming to... everyone that steps the the door to set the tone. Drinks were phenomenal. I had a Merriman's Mai Tai. It was similar to theclassic Trader Vic's recipe. And it was so good. It was topped with Lilikoi foam, which added so much flavor! The food itselfwas top notch. I knew it would be good. But it was even better than I imagined. The quality of my NY steak was superb. The cut,the rub, and it was perfectly cooked. Outstanding service, cocktails and delicious locally sourced lunch. We enjoyed the kalua pig and sweet onion quesadilla,... eggplant sandwich and Greek salad. But the desserts on the lunch menu are superb and definitely worth it. Coconut creme bruleeand the gooey shortbread with ice cream are terrific. We randomly came here a day before Christmas at 5:20pm and were lucky to get a table without a reservation. All the other people... seemed to have reservations. They had only fixed price 3-course menus at a quite steep price (smth like a $100 per person), butwe were not disappointed! One could choose between several options for a starter and a main course. Celebrated our anniversary at Merriman's and it was an amazing experience! Was a little unsure about the prix fixe menu but... there are so many wonderful choices and everything we had was incredible! Annette and the staff went above and beyond to helpus celebrate.
