Ordered rigatoni and creme brulee. Husband ordered coconut curry, and caramel cheesecake. All very, very good. Restaurant needs... some repairs to stairs out front, and to bathrooms. I know repairs are expensive and the restaurant industry is struggling rightnow though. Not a huge menu, but what is offered is made exceptionally well. Definitely a hidden gem. Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. My girlfriend and I didn't feel like driving back to Toronto and decided to drop... by the restaurant while in the area and since it was getting late we also got a room. Excellent value for the money. The roomwas recently renovated, was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was amazing, lots of choices. Theowner of the place is a very nice guy and very accommodating. The staff at the restaurant very friendly and very welcoming.Check out this place if you're in the area. Very disappointing. I've been waiting 2 years to go back to the Wainfleet Motel Restaurant. 2 of the 3 people at our table who... ordered it, found the prime rib so tough they couldn't cut it with a steak knife and couldn't chew the pieces they finallyhacked off. It wasn't fresh off the roast; it was char-grilled and barely warm. The servers were very pleasant but too busy todo more than drop off your plate and bring your bill. Had dinner at the restaurant Saturday night. Place was busy, not the first time we've been there but this time my meal was... disappointing. First I ordered Calamari as an appetizer and never got it.
