I am really surprised about this Pearl's Korean BBQ located in the Waipahu Shopping Mall next to Longs. I have been to other... Pearl's BBQ (Kapolei) I have to say this one surprised me. The place was very very clean..I have been to the one in Kapolei, andtheir restaurant was dusty and the floor was not so clean...This one in Waipahu was wiped down. The walls and counters wereclean. The prices are still HIGH, but it's the price you pay for Korean Bbq. The prices are high due to rising costs ofcontainers, staff shortages, and price of meats, fish and etc.. The food is still packed in your plate, and it's served hot, andfresh. I ordered the Fish Jun and the Meat Jun/Fish Jun combo plate..Here you choose your 4 sides and it comes with 2 scoops ofrice ???? plus your entree. You can share the plate ????? because the food is really piled up. I really liked this Pearl'sKorean BBQ place because, It was a clean restaurant, two the food looked really good, and the server was really nice. I ordered meals to be delivered to my friend, the other food made it okay and my friend said it the food are great. However, ... the soup I ordered since they are feeling under the weather, leaked. The soup was put in a paper container and essentially willleak. Read more
Food is always amazing, but the front staff are really incompetent and have no clue on how to manage a line of customers.
The portions are huge and the food tastes great. My favorites are the Kalbi short ribs and the Meat Jun. Always open parking in... the evening. Read more
My daughter ordered Bibimbap for take out, there was NO meat on their bibimbap! I called and they said they forgot to add the... meat! It doesn?t taste good too ...not going back to this place???? Read more
I had the meat jun/ spicy chicken combo. The meat jun was so fatty and they made my spicy chicken way too spicy! Rice was mushy... and their side vegetables should be kept colder. Other than all that I received great service and the place is kept clean. Read more
Really surprised by this place! Came here for lunch between jobs with the crew. Picked up the meat Jun regular plate. That plate... had like 4 lbs of food on it. It was amazing! Took some home for later and had to pick up a coffee to keep me from sleeping tothe next job! Haha! Read more
I used to love Pearls up until this year. They keep upping up the prices. It?s ridiculous..
