La Casita is a fantastic place to celebrate a birthday! We hadn't been there in a couple of years so thought we would try... it....they did not disappoint! We were able to make reservations on a Thursday night, my free birthday meal was excellent, theatmosphere is so fun, margaritas were delicious, prices were reasonable, and our waiter provided excellent customer service! It was standard Mexican food. The carrots in the salsa really threw us off. We mentioned it to locals and they say they don?t... like the salsa here either. Everything else was okay, your typical Mexican dishes. My husband and brother said the beef is spicy(I have a high spice tolerance so I thought it was just seasoned). Being from the south and here on business my coworker and I wanted some mexican for dinner yesterday. I saw La Casita had a... good rating and we chose to go there. Its very open and has plenty of seating. I will say the salsa was by far probably theworst salsa I've ever had. I'm not sure if thats a northern thing but what seemed to be diced carrots in the salsa just isnt athing down south. The chori pollo was amazing and definitely a larger portion than I'm used to. It came with the cheeseenchilada which is different and even that was delicious. My body was not ready for the level of spiciness from the chorizo. Inyears past the chorizo has never been that spicy and it in a sense shocked my body and taste buds but it was so worth it aseverything was delicious. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the salsa. This is definitely a place to go to enjoy somegreat Mexican food. Read more
Very cool restaurant. The food was a little dry but the atmosphere made up for it.
Pollo fundido with shredded chicken and mildly spicy cream cheese sauce is tasty. Fried ice cream with cinnamon ice cream is... great! They need to bring back their outside seating. Read more
I've only been here one other time years ago when my daughter was 3 I believe so it only seemed fitting to come again when she's... 6 and my son is 3. First I love that there's fun kid slush drinks, my done got blue and was having fun with a blue tongue andmy daughter got red and enjoyed the flavor. They got their kids entrees while I got mine . The food was great and definitely hada relaxing time. We arrived shortly after noon when I thought it would be way too busy but it really wasn't so bad because wegot seated right away. All in all a fun experience again. Hopefully others will have as good of an experience as us. Read more
