The new owners have taken this from a backup choice to a top choice for dinner in The Valley. The deck is perfect for dinner... outside and food is nicely prepared. We're fans. Read more

I opted to sit downstairs at one of the "original bars" in the area. When I asked how long the bar had been open for I was told... "forever". The ambiance is amazing- very cozy and warm. The service and food were outstanding. Great charcuterie! Amazinglobster tortellini- and the Buddha bowl with the ahi tuna was hardy and delicious! Extremely healthy and fulfilling Read more

The owners are very friendly and mingle with the diners frequently, inquiring how everything is. It's very clearthey enjoy owning this inn and restaurant. Visited here in March 2017. We ate an early dinner and practically had the place to ourselves. Such a cozy, quaint... atmosphere....quintessential Vermont. We were seated by the fire, and the owner and the server spent time chatting with us. Theowner greets every customer as they walk in. The meal was outstanding. I ordered the bok choy and my husband had the scallops. They have heady topper ipa, which is a challenge to find, even in Vermont where it is brewed. With dinner, drinks, and dessertwe were pleasantly surprised when we received our check. One of our best meals and dining experiences while in Vermont. Read more
