I don't know what to tell you. I really enjoyed having dinner with my wife there. The food, drinks and atmosphere was perfect... for the occasion. I liked the small plate choices which were based on European cuisine, mostly Spanish including cheese, olives shrimp and chicken. Make your own way through the menus with small additions of vine! Cannot say enough good things about this place and its menu. For starters our server was so kind and never skipped a beat on... checking on us, making sure our table was cleared between each time we ordered and asking if we were satisfied with everything. The food was incredible. We had The Kimchi broccoli with cashew and yogurt sauce, French onion soup, Gnocchi with Raclettecheese, Lamb Meatballs, and finished with the Pecan & Pear Pie. Portion size was perfect for 2 to share and loved being able totry so many different things. Service was quick, drinks were strong and even after we received our bill and paid our waiter Nickcontinued to check in with us and refill our ice water while we were there for almost another half hour. If your in downtownWakeforest make it a priority to pop into Bodega. Read more

If you're looking for a great date night place to relax, have a few drinks, and enjoy a full flavored yet light meal, look no... further. 3 plates each plus mousse for dessert and we were full. The lamb meatballs and the marcona almonds were ourfavorite. Excellent rum selection, the tapas menu had a wide variety of selections, and the service was outstanding. You can sitinside below street level or sit outside and people watch. First time here with friends and it will not be the last! Read more

We absolutely loved the food! The tuna was so good, definitely my favorite. And the gnocchi (not pictured) is a must! It's... important to understand that tapas is supposed to come out of the kitchen staggered. It's best to share and taste everything.Enjoy a small bites with ???? and relax in between. I agree with some of the reviews that the restaurant is louder thanexpected for tapas but its still a very enjoyable experience. Read more

Bummed that we didn’t like it. Service was great! Food however was simple. We ordered everything on the menu that sounded good... to us. As it was my wife’s birthday, we weren’t holding back in what we ordered. However, Nothing really stood out ascomplex or worth the money they were charging. We ordered roughly 10 tapas but even for tapas I feel the portions were small. Ihate to admit it but I went home and a sandwich… that’s not what an evening of going out is supposed to be like. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Literally every dish was cooked to perfection! I have to elaborate because I’ve... never had steak cooked that perfect from ANYWHERE! The chicken has the perfect amount of burn and tenderness at the same time. It’s easy to run up a tab here so expect to spend about $100 for 2. Read more

This is my second trip to this restaurant on a whim of a date night. In the past it has not come to the top of our list because... my wife is gluten-free and we didn’t know how things would be handled. They had a dedicated gluten-free menu and we’reexcellent to educate us on the menu. Besides that the food was spectacular and I am very picky when it comes to food. I had thegrilled octopus but the star of everything was the broccoli yes I said the broccoli! Also I love a good rum and they had afantastic selection. I loved the look and feel and ambience of the space. I highly highly recommend you visit Bodega we will becoming back again very soon?? Read more

From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. The bartender helped me pick the right wine to go with the mix of tapas I was about... dive into. The house red was the perfect blend. Can we talk about those empanadas and cilantro crema? The dough is crispy andflaky with a luscious fragrant meaty interior. The crema adds an herbaceous pop. The shrimp, lamb meatballs, and the saladamazing. Then there’s the desserts. Yes, I had two. The buttermilk tart and the chocolate mousse. Entirely worth everycalorie. Lovely staff, great service, and excellent food. The highlight of my short getaway. I wish I’d taken some empanadasto go but they likely wouldn’t have made it out my hotel room ;-) Read more
