Man was this place amazing! I can't believe we've live here for so long without checking it out! We went as a family of 5 on a... busy night and the place was so lively! Seated right away and treated like family. So much smiling and so much fun! All ofthe staff were great! Read more

I don't often times give a negative experience for a Mexican restaurant, but here I will. Service was terrible. Had to ask for a... coke 3 times. Food was subpar. And the dusty light fixture was hanging right in my face (glad I'm not allergic to dust....).Will not be returning nor recommending to anyone. Read more

I was curious about this place because I have gone to Wake Forest several times so I finally went. The waitress was extremely... funny and attentive. He make me feel comfortable. I wanted to try all the dishes from the menu but I am tiny so I cannot eatall. So, I ordered guacamole (I always do) and as main entree I ordered the Chicken in cream. This is made with cream obviouslyand is a little bit spicy and served with rice, beans and flour or corn tortilla. I also ordered a margarita on the rocks (Ilove cocktails). Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures to share how well the food looked. But, if you are looking for a mexicanrestaurant in Wake Forest, this is the place to go. Read more

If you want quick, affordable mexican food, this is the place to come. Nothing really stands out, but our food was enjoyable and... the margaritas were tasty. It's down in a basement, so there's not much light, which makes dining rather dark. The place was abit dingy and could use a cleaning (dust on blinds), but it's a no frills kind of place that is serving up good eats, so youcan't be picky. Did I mention prices are super affordable?! What it lacks in pretention it makes up in warmth and everybody remembers you charm. I mean it is just good old Mexican food,... admittedly the same food you can find at a dozen other places. The difference is the cozy charm, unique atmosphere, and thegood food and strong drinks like you were eating at a friend's house. This place is special. (The margarita pitcher was so goodI forgot to take pictures, this was all I could get!) Read more

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. What an awesome experience. A quaint spot located downstairs. The food (and... portion size) was amazing. So much flavor that it just makes you want more. Margaritas (on the rocks) were delicious. Theatmosphere was very comfortable. And if that wasn't enough, the staff here was the best. They treated every customer like theywere family. Can't wait to go back again! Read more

okay so i have a lot of thoughts, the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. it’s the smallest portion of mexican food, even... for a lunch special, i have ever received. the chips were stale, the salsa was sad and i left disappointed. i got a frozen margand the ice wasn’t blended well. great service but the food is REALLY lacking.
