I heard about this restaurant a few months ago and I been waiting too try it. I was not disappointed, the environment is really... good it very welcoming to anyone. Great for families, friends, couples, first dates! Don't missed on the table made guacamole,really fresh and delicious (eat it too fast and forgot to get the picture). I sat at the bar, because it was a bit packed whenwe got there on a Saturday late afternoon. The service was great, delicious drinks, friendly staff and really good food! Flavorswere on point! My sighted is more the Mexican eater than I am. Food was good. She really enjoyed it. I really prefer flour shells as opposed to... the corn, nut some menu items only are made with corn shells. The staff was excellent and very quick. Good portion sizes. Read more
Food was very good! Love that they make homemade guac table side. Get the spicy one ;). Servers were very busy because it was... the weekend so I cant comment on service. Bathrooms had no toilet paper but again it was busy. All I can say is try it duringthe week because the food was incredible! Read more
This place had a very long wait time. It was over an hour before we were seated and about 30 minutes after we were seated before... a server came to take our drink and food orders. Again, they were busy, but it took another 20 minutes to bring our drinks(water and sodas) and they were wrong. It took awhile for our food to arrive. The ceviche didn't have flavor. The fish was overdone. The other people with us said their food was ok. They had eaten there before, but I guess because it was so busy, itwasn't as good as normal. I'd go back again to give it another try on a less busy day. They have a large menu and several thingsthat I may try in the future. Read more
Been my usual go to Mexican restaurant when in the Wake Forest area. I would dare to say that it's definitely within the Top 5... "sit down" Mexican restaurants in the triangle that I've been to - and that's quite a bit of them. Especially for lunch. Theyhave their off days, but mostly I've experienced consistently good food, and great service. This visit was especially delicious.When I'm craving traditional Mexican (which is a lot ????), Tlaquepaque definitely comes to mind! Read more
We needed to show what good Mexican food tasted like to our visitors from the uk and we couldn't think of better than here. I... haven't been to Mexico so I have no idea if the decor is authentic but it sure feels cozy and welcoming. The free chips n salsaare quite the trap as they are rather addictive and your munching your way through when your meal arrives , yup it's going to beone of those " Im full but it all tastes so good" nights. I have yet to even hear anyone speak anything but praise about thefood here and for me the chicken is next to none , seasoned just right and cooked so it's moist and tasty. Wether it's a coupleor family there's something to suit everyone , and it's very easy to get to being just off capital Blvd. I will for sure beheading back there. Read more
Excellent service. Great food. We came for lunch on Taco Tuesday but I had to try some of the fajitas. So many good menu... choices, including seafood too. The fresh made guacamole was perfect. Highly recommended. Read more
This used to be one of my favorite places for Mexican in WF until yesterday. When they messed up my initial order I went back to... the restaurant to pick up my enchiladas and they were accompanied by a little friend. When I tried to call the restaurant totell them that I wanted my money back because now the order that was remade had a bug in it, they were less than helpful. Thegentleman that answered the phone just kept asking me over and over again what I ordered instead of offering to process myrefund. With things as expensive as they are nowadays, this is unacceptable!! Read more
