Tonno restaurant has a very relaxing setting, very classy but fun. Parking was pretty full but once I found the restaurant I... circled the block a couple times and found a spot just out front. The drink was strong and ice cold. Service was good and thepeople were friendly. Prices were good for the quality of food. I would recommend taking a first date here. I ordered the mostexpensive thing on the menu the Fillet which was served with fancy roasted greens and the most moist potatoes. The fillet wascooked medium rare and to perfection with the right amount of salt and seasoning. It was probably the best steak I've evereaten. I was getting full but it was so good I cleared my plate. My compliments to the chef. If I'm ever in the area again Iwill definitely be going back for another Fillet! Read more
Delicious food. Unique cocktails. Beautiful decor. Impeccable service. We sat at the bar and Meghan (the bartender) was friendly... & efficient. My husband & I told her this was our first time at this restaurant and certainly won't be our last! ;) Even themanager came over to ask how everything was. This is the second time we've been and it wasn't the best experience - the staff seemed to forget about us multiple times so it... took us a long time to order and even longer to get our food. That said, this place has nice outdoor seating and everythingwe've ordered there was great. To me the food and drink are the most important things, and they do those well. Read more
Another wonderful evening at Tonno! Lovely server Alyssa, she is terrific! We are frequent customers when visiting our family in... the Wakefield area. Absolute gem of a restaurant tucked away in Wakefield. Everything we had was fresh (the tuna was amazing). Service was... friendly on top of everything. We had a spur of the moment dinner there for my birthday. We are from out if town so found them on the net and it did not... disappoint. I had the lobster scampi special and we shared a salad with a homemade dressing with cranberries...it wasdelish...hubby had a roasted chicken. Our server was nice and very attentive. So please to find a restaurant like this at thelast minute....i give it a 10 in all respects. Read more
