So many places for breakfast in this area. All i want is a coffee, 2 eggs, home fries and english muffin and a server with a... smile. Do not get that here. Walk in and no one greets you, you kind of just stand there like your invisible. I decided to justtake a seat at the counter and wait and wait I did before server tosses a menu in front of you straight faced. It feels like ifyour not a regular you are not welcome. Just trying to find a place to have my morning coffee. Anyone can make eggs so its theservice that sells. Great book by the way and I thing the waitresses should read it. Well, lets try Camdens next. Love Meldgie's. Staff is great. Cafe is clean. Food is so good and the price is just right. Breakfast has always been our go-to... but have had lunch before. The burgers are so good and exactly want you need if you're craving a diner burger. I can't sayenough about the staff. So friendly and attentive even when they are crazy busy. Cafe is hidden in the back a little but thereis a fairly large sign out by the road. Highly recommend Meldgie's Cafe!! Read more

They could definitely get some better coffee. The coffee is bad. Ordered the #9 breakfast "firehouse" but they must have run out... of hot Italian sausage. And gave me regular. Read more

I did not have a plan to go here but was searching for a place to go because the place I was going to was closed on Tuesday. I... am pretty bad about taking pictures so I took a picture of my left overs, because when I was there I was more concerned abouteating my food than taking a picture of it. The omelet was excellent, the home fries are good, my grilled English was a littledry but I added my own butter. I was very excited that they had a variety of tea as I do not drink Lipton tea. The service wasvery fast, and the prices were good. Read more

Pretty decent breakfast at Meldgie?s Diner in Wakefield. One of the better breakfast spots down near the beach. Old school,... typical American style breakfast. I got their egg, cheese and sausage sandwich on a biscuit. ($5) I also got a chocolate chippancake ($3.50). Unfortunately, the pancake was way too small - sucks because it was really good. However, this might of beenthe best biscuit ever!!! ???? It was so buttery and airy at the same time. I almost ordered biscuits and gravy because of howgood it was. A power move was pouring some syrup on top of the sandwich. Had the feels of a McDonald?s McGriddle. My brothergot the Mexican omelette ($9.50) which he said was good. It was a big portion with a large omelette and a bunch ofhomefries. Wouldn?t mind going back to get more of those amazing biscuits. Read more

A very local place with fresh, and mean F R E S H food. Some of best hone frie potatoes with breakfast. Slowly ( sadly for... me)becoming a go to place for tourists. But understandable given great prices and and fantastic food. Friendly service is trifecta. Read more
