My family and I went on a Saturday early afternoon (1 pm) and they put us next to a huge birthday party which typically isn't a... problem, but because that party was so large we had no where to sit. Staff ended up bringing us chairs to have us share a SMALLtable that was already being occupied by 4 people with our family of 4. We wanted to order food and drinks for our kids butultimately did not because we had no where to sit the items. The most frustrating part was that there were other lanes that wereopen and available that were not so congested. It just had my family and I uncomfortable the entire time we were there. Read more
BEWARE OF MAKING ONLINE RESERVATION? THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN DON?T HONOR THEM THEN LIE. I made an online reservation for... 1 lane with 3 players for today at 2:00 pm. I arrived around 2:05 and went to the check in area to tell them of my reservation.Over the course of the next hour the employee looking in to me reservation first couldn?t find the reservation, then thereservation was showing that it wasn?t paid for but my card had been charged $115.97. So again after standing around for an hourshe told me I would need to call AMF booking team to straighten out why their system wasn?t showing that I paid even though Ihad a reservation # showing I completed the reservation. I called the booking team and the representative told me that I wouldbe getting a refund for the amount for the reservation and because of the inconvenience I would get to redeem my reservation ata later date free of charge. Which doesn?t help because the reservation was for a birthday surprise. I was told I would get anemail once the refund was taken care of. Instead I received a confirmation email at 4:59pm as confirmation of my payment. Icalled the booking team back to follow up since this was not the email I was advised I would receive and the representative hadno idea what I was speaking of and call the AMF Waldorf location to confirm if I actually used my reservation. They saidbecause the manager that was there at the time was gone for the day there was no way to confirm if my reservation wasn?t usedother than having the specific manager look at the security cameras to confirm that I didn?t actually play. This place hasruined my little cousins birthday and now are giving me the hardest time to get my money back. I will never be visiting thisestablishment again. The staff was helpful and friendly. But the wait for open bowling was over an hour long because this is a league alley. These... people bowl in groups for hours until maybe 8pm before individuals can be expecting a lane. Otherwise it is fun with an arcadelike place in the back for younger kids to pass time.
