Went thru the drive thru twice because i promised the toddlers if they ate they could have ice cream. One fish sandwich in my... order i asked for hot sauce (i had more hotsauce than fish and bread combined, please learn from my mistake and ask for it onthe side, and i like hot sauce) The other stuff was as expected for fast food...but the ice creams were AMAZING!!! (A Male using wife's profile) If I could give negative stars, I would! Had the worst experience here this morning (Checkers on... Leonardtown Rd. in Waldorf, MD). I work in customer service/sales. so this is really big to me. Checkers opens at 10am (which Idid not know BTW-thinking they opened earlier). I pulled up to the Drive Thru Speaker/Mic at 9:55am. I waited for a minute.Someone yells out of the speaker "we open at 10". As a light hearted joke, I said "Oh, ok...is it possible for you to take myorder and put it in at 10"? I was ignored... So then, someone yells out at 9:57, "you can't sit there"... I was like, "I'msorry, excuse me?"... They repeated, "You can't sit there". Then I heard "we will call the police". I immediately feltdisrespected and asked for the manager. (Now, there is no sign stating you cannot sit in the drive thru and if this is theirpolicy, the way it was unprofessionally yelled at me (by a manager and their staff), was unacceptable)...It is now 9:58 and nowanother car has pulled up behind me (this makes two cars now, including mine) waiting for 10am. The manager comes to the speakerand yells out very rudely "I am the manager and you cannot sit there, you have to drive back around and come back at 10"... Atthis point, I am just flabbergasted at what's going on. I asked the manager, "So you want me to drive around and come back at10, but there is another car behind me...and since it's 9:59, by the time I drive around, this car will pull up and it will be10am and they will be able to order, even though I sat here for 5 minutes waiting patiently having to endure this horriblecustomer service". The manager walked away and at 10:02am, a new young lady came through to take my order. Once she wasfinished, I drove up and let her know, it wasn't her giving the poor customer service, it was the manager and another employee.The young lady at the window understood my point and offered to provide my food at no charge. Only place open on a week day after 8 pm. when you're hungry you're going to stop at any place that is open! . Can't go wrong,... Great! Feel good food. I ordered wings . Choose your favorite! wings flavor garlic and parmesan, BBQ, spicy hot, etc. Curlyfries oh my Gosh They are so good.. Don't forget about the carnival dessert with The sugary powder sprinkles on top piping hotthat you pull apart while you're mouth Just says What took you so long to buy me. I must admit when checkers 1st came to the town I lived in down South I really did like it.. But over the years I feel like the... quality of the food has declined.. But the one thing I can say they have really good shakes An ice cream desserts. Our favoritething to get from there is banana milkshakes. Read more

Yuck! Mayo was runny like they put something extra in the mayo. I wouldn?t be surprised since they had an extremely nasty... attitude. I?m sure the owner doesn?t step foot inside the checkers while the employees are being foul to the customers and thefood???? definitely need Better Management at this location. Love the mushrooms & Swiss burgers. I don't see them on the menu but they always have them when I ask.
