Haven't been here in awhile but wanted to check it out again and catch the WC Championship game. Menu is way different than... last year. Wasn't thrilled about the appetizer choices so we passed. Got a Burger and my son got Chicken Tenders. Wish therewere more normal food choices but they seem to have gone more on the unique / different menu. Miss the Chicken & Waffles ,Mozzarella Sticks, and PIZZA. Overall pretty good but fancy for a sports bar. Love to see a Rueben or French Dip. Read more

New menu is not good. Brought my kid because we really enjoyed the food before, had the front of house manager as our server. ... Everything on the menu had jalapeño puree or something similar most kids don't like and asked about removing things for ourorder. Was told there are NO modifications. My kid chose not to eat, I thought I would try the quest since we were alreadyhere. Chorizo was burnt black, it was served with about 20 pitiful and greasy chips, was provided horrible service and I willpass on this place moving forward. As a server/ bartender there was zero reason to be treated the way we were as customers.Service was HORRIBLE. Too bad, I really enjoyed this place before. Honestly, not a place I would recommend to anyone. So first the service was bad, we ordered food that should not have taken an... hour to make and my drink ran empty for over half the meal before I got a refill. Meanwhile all of the servers are chitchatingat the bar. Now the food, we ordered a medium-rare burger that came out burnt and a Philly cheese steak that looked likesomething that we could have bought at a gas station. Overall the food was lackluster and not worth the pricing. The atmospherewas extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly. The other customers stared everyone in our party down like we were intruding. Really dissatisfied in The Local. The food was not worth $40 dollars. We ordered the burritos which is supposed to have veggies.... It had none also no flavor and the tortillas with it were stale.The wings only came with like 6 and had no flavor an hardly anymeat they were tiny mostly crumbs. We ordered onion rings. Came like 4 maybe 5 if you count the tiny one. Om so beyonddisappointed. We don't eat out often enough and all they offered back was for the missing veggies. Last week we stopped at The Local to listen to some live music. Good service and good meal though the short beers really are... short! Went there again last night and ordered the same meal (chicken tenders). This time we were served preformed chickenshaped into tender size pieces coated with breadcrumbs. McDonalds type chicken. $6.00 for a very small basket of cold stale corn chips and small side salsa. The taco plater comes with 3 small street shell... size tortillas with very little in them. No thanks, I?ll stay home.
