We couldn't find the one pizza place we were looking for but found Sweet Basil Pizza. Located in downtown Walla Walla. The... restaurant offers indoor seating and sidewalk seating on the plaza. We ordered the 10" Beast(?) Meat pizza. The crust is handtossed not too thick or too thin...but just right. This pizza because of the meat was a little more greasy that I care for. Ithad lots of meat and cheese. They don't skimp on the toppings. The 10" was perfect for just the 2 of us. You can purchase pizzaby the slice as well. They also offer calazone, Stromboli and other items. I did see the sliced pizza and the calazone bothlooked delicious. We're looking forward to trying some of their other pizzas and menu items. Really good pizza and very friendly staff. I would love and want to give it 5/5 stars for the good and service. But because of... their prices I?m giving them 4/5. But we come a couple times a year as a treat and it?s worth it. Read more
I enjoyed my dinner last night. They were really busy, but I got my Caesar salad within 2 minutes and my (rather interesting... looking) grilled cheese within about 5-10 minutes. I've been coming here for the past 15+ years and not much has changed aboutthe taste, but that's what I love about it. :) Read more

The pizza and salad was really tasty. They have gluten free pizza, and pizza by the slice, but I wish they had gluten free pizza... by the slice. I had the primavera and pesto slices and the house salad that were all really great. My husband had the pepperoniand bbq chicken slices as well and he enjoyed them. The service was friendly as well. This was a terrific lunch spot on our day trip to Walla Walla. At this pizzeria, you place you order at the counter, then take a... number to your table and food is brought to you. Pizza is available by the slice here, so I had 2 different slices and a housesalad. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the restroom was clean. Read more
This place is simply the best kept secret in all of Washington. Amazing pizza. I ordered a calzone and it was perfect. I... couldn?t eat it all in one setting so I took it , saved it, reheated in the morning and still perfect. I love the way they tossthe dough for everyone to see! Beer selection is great too. Love this place!!! I go multiple times a week for a slice at lunch. The people are really friendly and the atmosphere is... incredible. I especially like when there's a game on because they always have it on. The pizza is amazing with a nice crispcrust and I love their version of a grilled cheese. As long as I travel and work in and around Walla Walla I will keep going!!! Read more
