Jen and Jason have done an incredible job bringing this old place back to life. The level of detail in everything is... outstanding, from the decor /colour selections to the menu, right down to the agave straws. The menu is thoughtful andinspiring and the ingredients are top quality. Wonderful atmosphere and a delicious menu. Suits a number of occasions- Can?t gowrong for a business lunch or a night out. My husband and I stopped in for lunch on our way back home from a trip and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very... nice, the service was excellent. The young lady, made sure everything was good and was very pleasant and welcoming. The foodwas very good and plentiful portions. I would go back again when in town. I recommend this restaurant. Great restaurant in Wallaceburg. Food is fantastic and they have some great options for everyone. I had the lobster roll and it... was delicious. They sell jams and I bought the bacon jam and put it on burgers. Why haven't I seen this before. ???? The staffare very friendly and it is run by a couple. A fascinating Day Trip to Wallaceburg ended with a trip to Gourmet Heaven @ James Eatery! What can I saw but WOW?? This Eatery... is clearly 5???? Plus! First of all, the ambiance is devine from the moment we walked into the Historic surroundings and weregreated. The Menu was sublime and hence very difficult to chose from. We settled to splitting the (Genuine) Crab Fritters witharugula with a fascnating sauce with a tangy bite ... just right???? Fantastic. We both had the Lobster Roll. Mine withMac'n'Cheese, her's with French Fries. OMG?? Incredibly balanced and surprisingly filling. The Mac'n'Cheese was differentthan I expected. After the first bite, I wondered hmmmm... Maybe we were there on an "off" night. I got the special - chicken linguine and it was 20$. Very small portion and ok tasting,... but not much flavour and for some reason had chicken bones in it. Not even a slice of garlic bread with it. My husband got aburger and it was very pink in the middle. Hands down one of the best places in town to eat. It?s one of the only fine dining restaurants we have in town & they do it... right! Their menu is so diverse & as you can see we have tried most things on it. I have so many great things to say about allof them. But I have to say the street tacos, scotch egg, mushroom truffle pizza & pretzel knots have gotta be a few of myabsolute favourites.
