This was our first time there. The ambiance is beautiful and very relaxing. Our waitress was the bartender and she was very... good! Drinks came out prefect and she got the order right! We started with an appetizer, the cheese bread and fried ravioli.They were both good, and the ranch was good. But let me explain the chicken Parmesan with Alfredo sauce. I couldn’t even eatthe noodles because they were drowning in butter. And breading on the chicken was just heavy and just a mouth of grease, and wayto much cheese on top. I ended up taking off the breading and cheese to eat the chicken which was ok, nothing special. TheAlfredo sauce was runny and way to buttery. I didn’t eat that either. I was kinda shocked our waitress saw our plate anddidn’t even bother to ask if there was a problem, since we barley ate it. The dinner entree was about $25-29. Which I thoughtwas very over priced,. I recently had an event at Bar Verona and I can truly say it was the best event I could have ever imagined. We rented out the... venue for the night and the staff was absolutely fantastic. The food was spectacular and the bartenders were soooo nice andfriendly and accommodating!! Thank you so much Bar Verona!!! P.S. they even made their plant based Italian options which wereonly available at their other location just for me and my wife. They are FANTASTIC!!! Had such a pleasant and lovely experience at Bar Verona with great service and tasty food. Our waitress came to bring a round of... waters to start right when we got seated. She was consistent and timely throughout our meal which I appreciated so much.Especially being that the service industry is a work in progress post pandemic. Salad starters were fresh and well dressed. Pasta was the entree choice for every guest at our table and each and every dish was delicious and made in house! The food was decent. I did feel like it was overpriced for what you get. The service was very good. The building was nicely... decorated and clean. The potato skins were way too salty and had zero potato it was truly just the skin with cheese, bacon andscallions.. some chopped fresh tomatoes would have been good. The short rib was a very small serving size and the sauce plain,I did like the pickled kale for the freshness but it was overly sweet. The flourless chocolate cake was overcooked and ratherthan additional Hershey chocolate swirl on the plate some raspberry or strawberry sauce was desperately needed. The venue was nice. The drinks were pretty good. The food and the service left a little more to be desired. Two of my guests had... to ask for their food to get it. They were told they would be accommodated for the inconvenience. He offered them half off andthen he decided to take care of their bill. That was thoughtful. They cut my birthday cake for me. That was a plus. I ordered aside of meatballs, they forgot them. I wasn’t upset about it. Lol. The steak tips appetizer was great but was overpriced at$19 for the amount you receive (less than two tablespoons and bread). We enjoyed the appetizers more than the entrees.
