The service and atmosphere were great. The bread and garlic knots were yummy. Our entrees were delicious, but portion size of... what we ordered seemed a bit on the small side compared to price. Incredibly ddisappointed! Second visit, second disappointment! We were going to Oakdale for 8 o clock show, made reservations... for 6 o'clock. We arrived 10 min. early and got sat right away, we got menus.....that was about it for about 45 min. Theyfinally came for drink order, we didn't want to be late, do we put in our full order, 30 min. Later the drinks arrived, thenapps, and pizza for the boys. After 1.5 hrs n dinner....we had to leave. Brought mom up from queens for a nice dinner and ashow. We have been to several private catered events here, the last just a couple days ago. Thus restaurant does a terrific job. The... food is very good, the decorations and arrangements are perfect. They do a wonderful job in organizing buffet access and takingindividual beverage orders. The staff is remarkably personable and very competent. Overall, we have had nothing but goodexperiences here. For catered events we give this restaurant five clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale. Read more

We went on Sunday night for my daughter's birthday dinner. It was my daughter, myself and a few guests. We have been there a... few times for lunch and it was great. This night was a special night because my daughter chose to have her birthday dinnerthere. First off the waitress made us VERY uncomfortable because we mentioned that we had a coupon from Facebook that we wereable to use before. The waitress then asked WHO let you use the coupon, what day was it, what did the waitress look like, whatcolor was her hair, was she heavy set. I was Soo embarrassed! We waited over an hour for our food. My mom's food was dry andthey brought my daughter the wrong food and she waited about 10 minutes for her dish. Everyone's food was cold because wedidn't want to start eating in front of her. We were never asked if we wanted more to drink, if we needed anything. Whenleaving, I signed the receipt for my credit card I chose not to give a tip because I left a cash tip, the waitress looks at thereceipt and sees I didn't leave a tip on my card and says "Was Everything ok"? I said "yeah, I left you a cash tip on thetable", she's said "oh, ok". Again embarrassing!!!! My daughter said she doesn't want to go there again. Read more

The food is generally very good. But their online ordering is terrible! A few weeks ago they lost an online order. The staff ran... around a lot but didn't do much to help resolve the issue, and during the conversation a waiter (not directly involved) got VERYsnippy with me and only made matters worse. Last night they made 2 pizzas too small, leaving us with not enough food for afamily visit. If you are going to use an online ordering system, then TRAIN your staff on how to use it. After two big mistakesin a row, not sure we'll ever eat there or order takeout again, sadly. Read more

This place had the worst eggplant dinner that I've ever had. The eggplant was like leather very tough and the pasta was a little... under cooked. They had the nerve to charge me for a little bit of ricotta when I didn't get mozzarella on the eggplant probablybecause I told them about their eggplant being too tough and their garlic knots were terrible they hardly had any butter orgarlic on them. Fabulous food! Lobster crab cakes are delicious ! Never a bad meal. Very happy they survived the pandemic. I ordered take out... several times to help out as much as i could. Great food, great staff. Now that summer is here I’ll have to try out the patio! Read more
