I have been in Wallingford about 12 years. I visit Vinny's frequently. The roast beef is like nothing I ever tasted before. I do... not eat roast beef, but I do from here its soft like butter, you can tell that it's never sitting for days always fresh.Everyone is always nice, I'm baffled by some of the reviews, but you can't make everyone happy. Drop everything and stop by Vinny's now!! Was THE BEST roast beef sandwich (the #54) I have ever had in my ENTIRE life!! I'm... dreaming about it still- wow, wow, wow!!!! The bread is super fresh & the meat just melts in your mouth! No grizzled or fattybites, just pure deliciousness!!! Their potato salad was tasty too, but needed a little salt. 5/24/22 I stopped in to Vinny's Deli (self proclaimed King Of The Roast Beef grinder) for lunch, since I've had a gift... certificate burning a hole in my pocket since Christmas. "King of The Roast Beef"? I don't think so. While it is pretty good,someone from Vinny's should make the trek to West Center Market Place and order one of their in house roast beefgrinders. Those are REALLY stuffed with beef and are only $7.49, while this less "endowed" grinder was well over$10.00. Advantage: West Center Market for both size and value, as well as equal quality. This was a "good" sandwich, but if itweren't for the gift cards, I'd be a bit miffed about what it cost. Service was very quick and friendly. Can't fault them forthat. Read more
