first time here, food was amazing, service was great, left with a full happy tummy and will come back ????

Ordered a 2 lb. main lobster to share, perfectly cooked (steamed with drawn butter). Hand cut red potatoes, seasoned and... roasted, and corn on the cob came as sides. Corn was perfect--not overly cooked and starchy. Hubby devoured his tates. We paid$57 for the dinner, which we thought was an great price--just a bit more than $25/lb. That's $10/lb less than where we usuallyget main lobster! (Which has to be flown in.) Service was excellent. Easy access off hwy. Plenty of parking. And we werefortunate that it was just after 7pm, so we didn't have to wait for a booth. Its a come as you are kind of place. Which wasgood for us, because we only brought jeans on this trip. Comfortable, relaxing atmosphere--not stuffy, not so casual that youwere sitting in a glorified lawn chair worried about getting in and out. Just right! When we're back in town we'll come again. First - the food. It’s awesome. Really enjoy the food every time we go here. Why 3 stars? The waitress we had, Katie I believe... (?).. was so obnoxiously loud and dramatic with every word she said. It was beyond annoying. A loud drawn out accent that sheneeded to make sure everyone in the building could hear. If I worked there it would truly drive me crazy. Yes, the food isFABULOUS, and the dish is LOVELY - but we don’t need to hear it every single time, nor do we need to hear it being said toevery other table in the room. All night. Have never had a bad meal here! Love the salmon over crab cake and my husband usually gets the fried seafood platter. Meal is... always delicious and service is great. Only feedback would be that with COVID the seafood platter portions seem to have gottensmaller and they have gotten rid of the fresh bread - I know it’s hard right now but would love to have fresh bread back! Nice outdoor seating area. Good beer and delicious food! We had a half dozen oysters (super fresh and tasty), the pear& walnut... salad (large enough for 2 people) and the fish bacon ruben (also quite large portion). Would definitely come back again if inthe area. Read more

I have lived in Wallingford for 3 years now 2 minutes up the street from Westbrook Lobster and I have always wanted to come here... and try it. Finally came tonight and it was a wonderful experience! Great atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious, fresh,and hot! Our server Kiara was so attentive and friendly she made my first experience at Westbrook memorable! I would love towork here someday! I have been a server and worked in hospitality for 10 years! Thank you everyone at Westbrook for making myfirst experience so enjoyable! We were looking for a good place for dinner before the Casting Crowns concert at Oakdale and are so glad we decided on Westbrook... Lobster. We got lobster Mac and Cheese, Lobster Roll, Fish and Chips along with the warm goat cheese salad with grilled tunapictured here. Excellent service and food. Great craft beer selection. We'll make the trip again to visit just for the food, notjust because it is convenient to the theater! Read more

This was some of the best seafood I’ve ever had in my entire life. Between the gorgeous view of the river and the rustic dark... wood interior, this establishment is stunning. As for the fare, the lobster nachos were insanely amazing, the oysters wereincredibly fresh, and the clam chowdah was so creamy and tasty. I tried one of their specialty Pilsners that the waitressrecommended and it was crispy and refreshing. I would keep going back here just to try everything on their menu. Read more
