I really hate to give such a bad review when location's food looked so good, the atmosphere of the restaurant was so nice, and... the service was so good, but despite all that I hated 90% of my $60 worth of food. I only forced myself to eat what I couldbecause it was my splurge for the week. Some of the worse parts - -The nachos were bland and the cheese wasn't even melted. Theminimal toppings they had fell right off the chips -The enchiladas were cold and flavorless -The rice and beans were supersalty -The torta was huge but lacked any freshness or real flavor. In the end thanks to the size it just fell apart. The 10%that was good...the basic asada taco was worth eating. Overall my meal made me sad. Read more

Heard a lot of good things about this place, so i decided to stop by. The cashier was very friendly. She gave me some... recommendation. I ordered an asada mulitas, octopus tacos, and quesadilla. My favorite is the mulitas. It was very crispy, and“cheesey.” It was a bit oily, but very flavorful. The quesadilla was a little soggy, but not a deal breaker. I am not toohappy with the octopus tacos. I only tasted spiciness. It is very spicy actually. I did not taste octopus. If has more flavorand less spicy, it would be perfect. There was plenty of parking space here. They also have multiple tv’s with sport channelson. Perfect for the game day. Read more

Excellent food, I had a gobernador wet style and some pro tacos (asada and pollo) The restaurant was very clean and the food... came out promptly. The pickled carrots were soft and spicy, the perfect complement to our food Thank you! Read more

Their birria & al pastor tacos were good. I'll be back for more. Asada fries could be better. Chill vibes inside with a decent... selection of bottled beers. Read more

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - asada and pastor tacos. No lengua so based on cashier recommendation, we got tripe fries. They gave... complimentary chips and salsa for in store dining. The chips were warm and fresh but the salsa was a bit watery. The tacos wereloaded with ingredients but a bit dry. The fries were great with the melted cheese and guacamole salsa but the tripe got a bitqueasy near the end though so we wouldn't do again Ambience: 4/5 - cozy shop but at around 5:10, they turned down the lightsand had strobe lights. Interesting change in atmosphere to almost sports bar vibe Service: 5/5 - cashier was super friendly andhelpful! Value for price: 4/5 - a bit pricey for tacos but comparable for a store Read more

Casual Mexican street food in Walnut. It’s located in the Stater Brothers complex by the Montessori, so there’s ample... parking. Credit cards are accepted. Per other reviews, we decided to place our order online ahead of time and it took about 20mins for the food to be prepared. There were some indoor dining (no outdoor options). There was a self-service salsa bar withfour different types of salsas (avocado, habanero, red, and green) along with limes and other sides. The food was pretty good, though on the oilier side. I tried the Birria mulita and my sister tried the al pastor mulita - the meat in both were flavorfulbut there was a lot more tortilla than meat. My dad got the tripas street tacos which were very crispy but said you could eatthe food in two bites (in other words, the tacos are on the smaller side). We also got an order of carne asada nachos to splitamong the three of us. It came with jalapeños, shredded cheese, guacamole, and we requested no sour cream. The chips were verycrunchy and held up well, but I’d probably stick with the tacos/mulitas instead. Overall, it’s a casual spot to grab sometakeout Mexican food when you’re in Walnut. Read more
