The service was embarrassing. The hostess was inconsistent and inattentive until we requested the bill to leave. The possible... manager wasn't much better. The mojitos was completely watered down. The food was hot enough but with a chimichanga I do not geta knife or a cutting utensils. I shouldn't have to ask for such a thing with that type of food. My drink was fine but how do youclaim 151 proof rum if it can not be legally sold in the state of California. Yes I'm getting PETTY and TECHNICAL. Easily thiswas a mistake of a restaurant I took my wife too for a date night dinner. Don't worry you won't be getting our businessagain. I'm not sure why the service was so pathetic. Primarily a bar with lots of beer options, there is also a largish menu featuring the normal tex mex dishes. Execution was... really good. Their guacamole was creamy with bits of onion in it. The chip was made in house (but why only one?). Rice wasfluffy and the roasted potatoes were excellent. I got the enchiladas which were also quite good. On the negative side, theplace has horrible acoustics and once one third of the place had patrons, you had to scream to be heard. Also, the kitchen wasnot too efficient and it took them so long to get my dish out that the bartender came to apologize. Read more
