Good service, decent food, loud music, and good drinks so overall a 4 out of 5. Food is really pricey. Shareable plates cost... more than some meals at different restaurants and you need quit a few of them. Ceviche trip was good, but chips they came withhad spice and flavor that it was hard to get the flavors of the actual fish. Friend and I each enjoyed our drinks that were thetypical $15+ for a mixed drink... Sadly the norm now. I told a different friend it\'s like an Instagram restaurant where theycare about ambiance and looks over anything. It was a fun experience, but not sure I\'ll be back. Read more

Went here for a girls lunch on a Saturday around noon. They were pretty busy but the service was still good. Loved the ambiance... they were playing music in the background and decor was really cute.\n\nWe ordered their chicken jerky bowl, shrimp bowl, ceviche trio, street corn, and steak kale salad with their jardín de balata cocktail. All of us were very pleased with our foodchoices as they were all very tasty.\n\nPS don’t forget to order the donut holes they are the perfect warm, soft treatyou’ll need after such a good meal.\n\nDefinitely will be back! Another first in the books. I am always down to try something new. A cousin of mine recommended it and so we went. Additionally... the name of the restaurant is also my moms name so we had to try :).\n\nThe restaurant is located in downtown Walnut Creek.Upscale restaurant with a Latin-Caribbean Vibe. Love all the plant decor (fake) but still beautiful. When we came it wasn’tcrowded we got seated right away.\n\nFor appetizers we went with the House-made Chips with Charge Pineapple Guac. Let me tellyou I could not stop eating that Guac. It was different. Every bite tasted fresh and it went well with their spicychips.\n\nThere were three of us so we decided to all order different things on the menu. I had the Coconut Curry Chicken, onehad Jerk Salmon Bowl and one had Black Pepper Shrimp and of course we sampled their red-blend wine. All the dishes were a hit.My Curry was so flavorful and the rice was not plain white rice it was coconut rice and I love it, went well with mydish.\n\nAll dishes came with rice, pinto beans, charge pineapple guac, Carrie blanket slaw, scotch bonnet tomatoes andplantain. All of it was good there’s was nothing left on the plate. The staff were super attentive and service was fast. Theprice was not that bad considering it’s downtown area.\n\nParking: ???????? there’s a garage near\nLocation:??????????\nFood: ??????????\nService: ??????????\nFood Portion:?????????? Read more

I was not expecting much, but was quickly proven wrong. The staff was friendly and attentive. The jerk chicken was perfectly... cooked and deliciously seasoned. The plantains were the best I\'ve had outside mom\'s kitchen. The 3 ceviches each had distinctbursting flavors and we couldn\'t decide which one was our favorite since they all tasted so great. The cocktails are unique andserved with bamboo straws and interestingly delicious combinations with that caribean flare that take you back to that sandybeach were your cares just disappear. We liked the decor and food portions as well as presentation. This is definetly a place tocome back to, and with friends that I\'d want to impress. Read more

Birthday dinner for a friend, we wanted to try the newest place in WC - LITA. We were glad we tried it, but we probably won\'t... go back for the food, maybe for the cocktails though. The best part of our meal, tastewise were the Salted Cod Fritters, theywere light and fluffy and the dip had a good spice level.\n\nCudos for their food presentation, but overall the meal did notlive up to the hype.\n\nMy friend had the Ancho Chili Coffee Short Rib with the brussel bacon mashed potatoes. The short rib wassuper tender, but neither one of us got any taste of the Ancho Chili at all and very little coffee flavor, the potatoes weregood, but nothing spectacular.\n\nI had the Double Mojo Skirt Steak with the Coconut Rice and Beans. The steak was extremelytasty, both sauces provided a great spice level and had some zing, the rice had no coconut flavor, except for the powder on topand the beans were just okay. The plantain was pretty dry.\n\nWe finished off the meal with what they call Chocolate PassionCake - it\'s not cake, it\'s more like fudge, and while the flavor was good, it was not what we expected. Also, be prepared thepassion fruit sauce was super tart, and I like tart but this was a bit too much for my taste.\n\nThe restaurant itself isbeautiful, but does get a bit noisy. Overall I would give 3 1/2 stars out of five. Read more

Came here for dinner finally. Good food, service and ambiance but definitely overpriced. Ordered 2 drinks, a beet salad, 2... lobster corn dogs and the skirt steak meal. Came out to roughly $175. The corn dog was unique and tasty but the sauce definitelyhelps it. The beans tasted tomato based, the coconut in the coconut rice was really subtle and the skirt steak was a bit toocharred. So many consistently tasty food places here in walnut creek. Not sure I\'ll be coming back here. Read more

Lita is a beautiful restaurant, I love the interior design and vibe. The Brussel sprouts, pork taco and pepper shrimp bowl... were the highlights of our meal. And the coconut creme filled doughnuts were absolutely delicious. The lobster corn dog wasok, definitely needed more seasoning or a better sauce, was lacking flavor and the kick you would expect from a Carribeanrestaurant. The one thing I was super disappointed about was the ceviche!!! We ordered the ceviche trio and the waitressbrought us just one of the types of the three ceviches. So I told her and expected her to fix her mistake, instead, to mysurprise she charged us for BOTH!!! Both of which were like $28 dollars each, so we spent $56 on something that was not evenclose to ceviche. I specifically told the waitress before ordering that I am pregnant and asked her if the ceviche was\"cooked\" long enough in the lime to be consumed by a pregnant woman (who cannot eat raw fish), she said yes! The cevichecame and was cut in MUCH thicker than a traditional ceviche and was translucent, making it painfully obvious that it was stillVERY raw fish (as you can plainly see in the pics). It was sashimi not ceviche by any means. It was also incredibly bland, lacking the citrus forward flavor that all traditional ceviches have or any seasoning for that matter. My friend said weshouldn\'t complain, so I didn\'t want to embarrass her, but when I got home and thought about paying $56 dollars for awaitresses, terrible tasting mistake that could have killed my baby and I felt instant regret. Our bill was $186 before tip(we still tipped her 20%) for two people for lunch. We ordered a lot of stuff because we wanted to try different dishes andsupport this new restaurant but it should have been $130 for sure. I literally brought the ceviche home, offered it to mysashimi loving husband and when he turned his nose up to it, gave it to my DOGS!! The shocking part was was we ordered beefempenadas Read more

Woah, skirt steak, ceviche, black pepper shrimp, lobster corn dog, and a crazy biggo drank (Queen Anne\'s Revenge).\n\nThis is a... new restaurant that Walnut Creek was been waiting for that was in construction and held up due to the pandemic. The vibes andthe atmosphere was stunning. They serve Caribbean cuisine and it was amazing. I\'ve never had plantains but I really enjoyed it;texture and flavor wise. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly and the coconut rice enhanced it.\n\nThe ceviche was lit, I caneat that forever. It wasn\'t heavy and the cured fish keeps my tastebud wanting more. The lobster corn dog, one of a kind, andyou gotta get one because it\'s iconic. Everybody wants a bite of that glizzy.\n\nWill be back to try other dishes. Read more
