We had our welcome party at Mike Hess and it was incredible. We did a full rent out and loved the outdoor space and indoor... space. The staff was so helpful and communicative throughout the entire planning process and was a joy to work with. They evenhelped us line up a great band to play during the event. Fun place to hang out in Walnut Creek. Off the beaten path from the mess of downtown, parking is readily available. Great beer,... over a wide selection, and a great patio with occasional live music. No food menu, but lots of food choices from neighboringrestaurants if you get hungry (and they deliver to you as well!). Read more

Mike Hess Brewing is the 35th largest craft brewer in California. That is something to brag about. Something else to brag about... is, winning a gold medal at the 2014 World beer competition with their Double Rye IPA and a bronze at the 2016 Los Angelesinternational beer competition. My favorite Mike Hess beer is the Sunset Blood Orange IPA. It's freshing and delicious. This isa good date spot. Grab a cold beer, then head outside to enjoy the cozy couches. This place is very nice, the staff are nice. Everything was clean and neat. They were taking precautions for covid-19 very... seriously. Food was ok. Super cool spot with a killer outdoor area. With a $15 flight you are given a free pint glass that gets you a discount when you... come back Mon-Thurs. The beertender was friendly and the beer was good. I grabbed a 6 pack only to find out that cases are 15%off on Mondays so I grabbed another one! Overall a great spot with good beer. Check it out. This place is awesome. One of my fav SD breweries. Try the Grapefruit Solice if you?re an IPA fan. They also have a blood orange... IPA called ?Into the Sunset? that?s legit good. Their stout is also awesome, and their kolsch is super clean. Read more
