Has become overpriced and less tasteful. Skimping on ingredients and lower quality toppings. I've scratched them from my list.... Was a fav when they opened. Servers are dirty and rude. Read more

This is their small pepperoni. 1 side has pep. The other really doesn't. All the toppings just slide off into the plate. There... is barely any sauce. The pepperoni is boiled not crisp. So it's texture is SPAM It also looks like a drunk microwave pizza myroommate in college would heat up after a night of alcoholism and LSD Soggy, nasty and greasy in a bad way are comments othershave used here, to review this joke place. Hits the nail on the head. PanCoast? More like Pancake. Read more

Walnut Creek has its fair share of delicious restaurants as well as fast casual spots to choose from. But it doesn't have a... whole lot of pizza places, especially when you're in the mood for just a single "slice" of pizza. With that said and done, thistakes me to "panCoast pizza" which focuses on their New York-styled pizzas. Located directly on S. Main St. and parallel toHighway 680 on the south part of Walnut Creek, this place has been serving their piping hot east coast pizzas dating back to2012. What makes this place great is that the owner Bob Pancoast is originally from the Philadelphia/New Jersey area whichmeans he brings a lot of his ideas out west. I ended up coming here during the evening of Sunday 9/5/2021 at around 8:30pm. Eventhough this was 30 minutes before closing time, they still had a very generous amount of customers ordering for dine-in andto-go. Since I live out of town, I decided to dine outside and take advantage of the warm late summer evening. The inside ofthis place is rather small but still allowed indoor seating as well as TV's, a self-serve fountain drink station, and a singlerestroom. After looking over the menu, I ended up going with a slice of their sausage, olives, red onions, and cheese while my+1 went with a slice of their pepperoni with jalapeños. Prices here for the slices are fairly reasonable as you can get afairly generous slice in between the $5-7 range. In addition to the slices, they also make whole pizza pies as well as hoagies, salads, and strombolis. They also carry a fairly decent amount of craft beers on tap. Considering it was quite busy on a Sundayevening, my pizza still only took about 5 minutes until it was ready. Overall, this definitely has a nice unique New York tasteto it with the crust being thin while still packing in a ton of flavor. The only real downfall is that since this pizza wassitting under a hot oven for quite some time, it didn't have that 100% fresh out of the oven taste. If I could Read more

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is every time we order and drive to pickup at the time our order is supposed to be ready... we have to wait another 20-30 minutes for our food. I totally understand a locally owned small shop feel and the struggle ofkeeping up with orders, but would appreciate being told before driving that our order isn't ready. We will definitely order overand over, but a tad disappointed by our recent visit as the food wasn't the same quality as usual and we had to wait 35 minutesAFTER our food was supposed to be ready. Spent about $35 on a large pepperoni and chicken, 2X garlic twists, and a drink. The pizza was solid. No complaints, would... likely try it again. My wife thought it was too salty, but I liked it that way. Thin crust made in the NY style. Not doughyand had a little crunch, soft enough where it could still be folded. Everyone working in the restaurant was super nice and thatalone is worth something. Read more

Thank you to the owners of PanCoast Pizza. There?s nothings like coming to a place and feeling like home! Love how friendly and... down to earth they were. And love hearing their story of how the place came about!!! Place: 4 stars - it?s in a good spot butonly a few parking spots. It?s a corner lot so it?s easy to spot. It?s kinda tiny inside so when they get really busy it can getreally crowded. I like the back patio it?s nice and cozy. Even though it?s not that big, it?s still a good spot for abaseball/soccer team to enjoy some food after a game. Food: 5 stars - lithe food tasted so fresh. My favorite was the garlicknot! I can probably keep eating them if they?re in from of me, it was so soft. The pizza, it was thin crust just how I like it,cheesy, and lots of toppings! Meatballs were also the bomb! Love that marinara sauce that?s on the meatball, also good with thegarlic knots!!! Staff: got smiles, their helpful and attentive! Side note: bathroom was nice and clean :). Read more
