I am not from the area. We had a party of 3. Order at counter and they bring out the food. Super nice and good natured staff.... Lots of TVs for sports watching and numerous beers on tap. The food and service was decent. It seemed to be a family runbusiness which I love! In my opinion, the bad reviews seemed to be unjustified, because it seems the owner backed hisemployee.... but I was not present.. I hope this family business strives! We were there on Tuesday. I would love to see it on afootball day! Read more

Stopped in for an afternoon bite to eat and WOW - the pizza was amazing! I had a mini ?Kyle? and it was phenomenal. Looked like... a thick dense crust but it was light, airy and had a crispy bottom. Probably the best pizza I?ve had. Read more

Pinky's is a Walnut Creek staple. I've been going to this restaurant since I was in high school in the '80s. Their pizza is... good and it is a bit different from other pizza joints so it may or may not be to your taste. But the hidden secret is that theyhave really good sandwiches as well. I often have a sandwich and salad for lunch at Pinky's and it never disappoints. It doeshave a bit of a sports bar feel as there are many TVs and usually have some sports channel or game on them. The staff is superfriendly and the owner is usually walking around and greeting people by name which always impresses me. Read more

Me and my husband are always on the hunt for good pizza because it is his favorite food. He was born in New York and therefore... have high standards when it comes to pizza because NY have the best pizza. Anyway, they did not claim to have New York stylepizza so we did not expect much but they put too much sauce it overpowered the flavor of the toppings. Also, when we werewalking out a woman asked us if we already paid which is very insulting! Read more

Delicious! The pizza was amazing and came out quick and super fresh. The environment is really fun and the restaurant was super... clean. We got a medium pizza, and it was the perfect amount for two hungry adults! The menu has something for everyone, andeverything can be customized. Always a good time and we will be coming back!! There are two appeals to this place; the pizza crust, and the at-home bar atmosphere. The crust is crispy on the bottom like a... cracker, when cooked right, and tastes great plus does a good job of keeping your pizza in a slice shape. The interior baratmosphere near the tap seemed very fun and friendly, but I didn't stay there long. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 isbecause the bacon on the Randy's Hot Friday pizza was rank. The bacon had clearly been in the fridge a couple days too long, orleft out before being cooked or refrigerated. It was a bit foul. Other than that my experience here was perfect. Good beer ontop with proper flavor and head, bathroom smelled like pure bleach (which is what I want in a dirty pizza place ????) , and theemployees were really friendly. It was expensive, about $30 for a 12" medium, but the taste was so unique and crust so good thatI didn't even care. I won't go here again because of the bacon issue (If you can't keep bacon below the danger zone i can't giveyou a 5). Read more

Came her to "eat" some time while my car was being worked on. As a veg, I am used to sifting through menus and asking questions... on how to modify meals to fit my need. This establishment was very friendly in answering my questions. I ordered a half sandwichwith salad and drink. They held off the mayonnaise and cheese on my veggie for me, and substitted oil and vinegar in additionto the mustard that was on it. I was pleasantly surprised to have mushrooms on my sandwich, and that it was a hot sandwich!! Besure to add the onions and peppers (ill request double next time, so tasty). When I asked about their sourdough bread possiblycontaining milk or eggs, the owner personally called their bread distributor to confirm the sourdough was in fact free of animalproducts. They had an oil based dressing for the salad i got on the side and the salad itself was delicious and filling!(beets, kidney beans and chickpeas, yum!) They do have a cauliflower crust for their pizza but it contains egg-may work for individualsfollowing keto. Clean establishment at lunch time with all ages dining in. Friendly, laid back out door patio. Ill be back, butI do hope to see more vegetarian labeled options on the food menu in the future! Read more
