This is a really good breakfast and brunch place in Walnut Creek. We went on Friday morning and we had to wait for 20 minutes.... They only had outdoor dining since they were undergoing renovation inside. We ordered a urbanos bowl, hippie happy bowl, avocadomultigrain toast, carnitas and country style potatoes. The bowls were really good and loved the combination of Spanish rice withthe fajita tofu and fresh veggies in that. The sauce was also really great. The mint sauce on the side of the hippie happy bowlwas herbaceous and well balanced. The multigrain toast in the avocado toast was exceptional. Always really great service. Thank you!!! Order at counter once they assign you a seat. I always get the Dick?s Special... (Richard, Ha) with French toast. Parking can be hard to find when they?re busy. Tip: there?s parking spots in the back butyou?ll need to enter through S California (Yoga Flow SF) or go the wrong way in the parking lot. Read more

[Chelsea's Omelette (egg whites, zucchini, broccoli, spinach, jack cheese, and... avocado, with side of kale & broccolini), lemon ricotta pancakes (lemon ricotta pancakes served with mascarpone whipped creamand blueberry compote),and cinnamon swirl french toast (cinnamon swirled chalian bread dipped in spiced egg batter)] The servicewas okay. I?ve been going to Sunrise Bistro for the past 10 or so years. It?s always top notch. The food is always fresh, tasty and the... portions perfect. At present (December 2021) they have outdoor seating and the area is heated. Staff are all very friendly andservice is on point. This place is very popular so expect a slight wait for a table but well worth it. Read more
Huge portions, good service, outdoor seating with tents and heat lamps. Our family always leaves this place happy and full. They... only have outdoor seating right now and streamline the process of reserving a table, ordering at the register once your table isready, then sitting and waiting for drinks and food to come with you. Excellent breakfast spot. None of the places would have a line to get in at 10 AM on Saturday. This one does and it tells a lot... about the quality of the food. Although coffee might need some improvement. Mr.Diablo and Ty?s where top notch. Add a littlebakery to your order and you have a one successful day ahead of you???? Came in with my mom and son this week for some breakfast. The wait time wasn't too bad and they have a little bench for waiting.... We ordered at the counter which was a little strange since they handed us menus (why not just have the menu posted?) and weretold where to sit. Our food came in under 10 minutes which was impressive. My mom and I ordered the same scramble which cost alot but was super filling. I actually took about 1/3 of it home but my mom finished the whole thing. My son ordered off thekid's menu and I don't remember what he had but he finished it and enjoyed the bacon. The fruit they served was delicious andwhen I realized there wasn't enough sour cream for the size of the plate, I was able to ask for some and they gave it to me in aplastic ramekin which was perfect for taking the rest home. I definitely don't know if I could afford to come here again with myson, but I wouldn't mind ordering that scramble again for myself. Absolutely delicious. Read more
