The food was good, but I have had better. The apple that was my side dish was tiny and had a nickel size blemish on it. The girl... who waited on me and the man (I believe may have been one of the managers) were very friendly and helpful, but the young ladywho served up the food from the kitchen was unsmiling and surly. The staff at Panera Waltham is very rude and seemingly discouraged the unlimited sip program. We would get attitude everytime we... came in for our coffee and most of the time our rapid pickup cup order was not ready. What is the point of rapid pick-up if youstill have to wait for the cup? And sometimes they have the cups already out for general use other times not so you never knowwhat to expect when you order ahead. Unprofessional and poor customer service. Read more
There soup and bread are always a comfort food. I can buy the soups in most markets for cheaper, but the bread.. is out of this... world! My only gripe is the staff. It's usually staffed pretty well, but I feel like maybe they all just started "quietquitting" I typically wait about 25 minutes to a half hour for 2 cups of soup with a side of ciabatta bread. Even if there isonly one person in front of me, sometimes NO ONE in front of me. I've the lack of care when a sandwich is being made that IDIDN'T order, and I'm still waiting 10 minutes LATER. BUT I guess I'm glutton for punishment cuz every week when I go to thelaundry mat, I do the same thing. Just don't eat in if you're in a hurry. To Go orders might be faster.. ???? Read more
Food was fine but staff was rude to me and my girlfriend. They didn't have soft drink cups out and when I asked for one, they... told me they didn't have any BUT ALSO gave me a hard time about taking a coffee cup. I'm not going to cup my hands to hold adrink. My girlfriend asked for salad dressing because it was light and after she told them it was green. They insisted itwasn't and scoffed before giving her the green dressing. This is absolutely bizarre behavior. This place used to be pretty good but over the last few months it's really gone down hill. Very long waits, no available cups,... orders being marked "done" but never coming out, mobile orders ignored, people not at the counters for huge stretches of time.Just overall an overly difficult process to actually *get* the food. Couple all of that with the place is usually unclean and Iwould just recommend anyone in Waltham to go to the other Panera across town. Read more
I only come here for coffee, which I order ahead, and it is literally never ready when it says it is. Do with that what you... will. Since they started charging for the unlimited sips club, the cups are no longer available at the rapid order/self servestation, so you have to wait for them for actually fulfill your mobile order. They will send you order updates saying your orderis ready, and I have truly never had my order ready upon arriving at this location. Will not be returning, and will likelycancel the unlimited sip subscription as a result. Read more
Came here on a Wednesday afternoon. Should have been very quiet but there was a line out the door. I waited over an hour for a... small cup of Mac and cheese, which should?ve taken a minute to scoop. My order name was never on cue screen and I eventually gotit after the employee on the register went around back and scooped it herself. I have been coming here since they opened, and Ihave never had this problem before but this experience definitely changed my opinion. I haven't been to Panera in a while and after this visit I think I'm going to keep it that way. This location is "self... checkout", so there's no cashier to talk to, just tablets. I ordered and found out they only take card. No cash. I had my cardon me but that still sucks. My bagel was stale. I don't think it was fresh. They also left out the butter so I had to ask forsome. The self-serve coffee was just warm, not very hot. I was disappointed with my entire order. I'm not impressed, theyraised their prices but all of the service is practically gone except for the employees in the kitchen. Felt kind of sterile,cold. Not as inviting as I remember it to be.
