This is a great spot - the food is excellent. Roti canai is 100% a must get. I believe I saw them making the roti fresh to... order. The chicken curry is also a great dish. I've had a few other things here but these stand out. Service is super and theowner is incredibly friendly and takes a lot of pride in his restaurant. The dining area, bathrooms and the open kitchen are allspotless. Haven't tried the hainanese rice yet but probably next time. Anyway, go here, get the roti canai and whatever elselooks good to you cause it's gonna be tasty Read more

I was greeted immediately by the owner who was super friendly and welcoming. He recommended a couple of signature items on the... menu and I ended up ordering the Curry Mee with Yong Tau Foo which did not disappoint. Food tasted authentic. The menu wasextensive and the portion was generous; I wish I could try everything on the menu! Roadside parking wasn’t an issue and itwas free. Read more

I just found my FAVORITE Malaysian restaurant! I travel often and if Nasi Lemak (one of Malaysian's main dish) is offered on a... menu, I order it without second thought. So, you can say that I can definitely make a comparison. Hands down the best Nasi LemakI've ever had!! Their homemade Roti Canai is a must have. Penang is the only restaurant that I have had where they make theflatbread like no other. It is thin, soft with a little crisp, just perfect to dip in the curry that comes with it. I can't waitto go again and try their what seem like an endless menu of delicious food. Nice entry with a famous street in Penang on thewall. Open kitchen concept! Too bad I can't upload videos on here. Service was great. They were very attentive and SINCERE! Ifyou're around Waltham, I recommend that you stop by and enjoy all that they have to offer. Authentic! I was looking quite forward to this place to try out when I randomly searched for it a few weeks back and see that it's much... more car friendly compared to the Chinatown location. Overall it's great, the servers were very friendly and they were reallyquick with the food. The plastic utensils and plates were a bit let down but given its COVID precautions I could understand, Idefinitely do like their full beautifully printed menu however, I'm glad they didn't do away with it. The food were all quitegood probably not the best I've had but its one of the better ones for sure. I was a little let down with the Spicy Thai Chickenas I thought the meat was a bit rubbery and not as juicy and fresh as I had at other similar establishments. However the saucewas quite on point that we decided to bring home leftovers :) The fried rice and Beef Rendang were both really well done andthey are definitely worth of return visits. When I visited it was pretty easy to find street parking on a Sunday afternoon asthe place was relatively empty which is good as they don't really have that many tables to be honest. Its a great place to forMalaysian foods I am happy I made it out here. Read more

Good value for money. Roti canai was good , so was the beef rendang.clay pot pearl noodles with seafood and meat was a bit much... noodles and very little protein. Good things about the place are that service is very courteous, everything is freshly made andit's pretty easy on the pocket. Read more

Tdlr: very flavorful food, slightly pricey but worth it Full review: we got take out from here the other night.Can’t... recommend the roti canai (thin pancake in a spicy dipping sauce) enough! We got the Prawn mee and Bean curd in Thai style spicysauce both extra spicy boy were they spicy. Lots of kick but still lots of other flavors. The prawn me would me perfect forbattling a cold. We were a little surprised with the Achat since it’s actually a cold dish and still tasty but wouldn’torder it again. I would definitely come back here! Read more

Cuisine: it was a hit or miss for the dishes we ordered. The Roti Canai was great, recommend anyone wanting to try Roti Canai... get the original without the eggs. Hainan chicken was delicious, meat was very tender, and the beef stew was tender and savoryas well. The Fuchow fried noodle was subpar, not sure why there was so much sauce in a fried noodle and the noodle was also abit too dry. The fermented tofu mixed veggie was too salty with a strong smell that will take some to get used to. The coconutflavored rice was decent, but felt like it added a bit too much water. Overall, the dishes were decent, you just have to carefulof what you order for the table. The price is a bit above average. We had four people and came out to be $35/person. Read more
