For all of the years that I've lived in Massachusetts, and the time period when I actually lived in Waltham, this month was the... first visit to The Chateau. I must say that I was not disappointed. I recently prepared for my second book release/book signingand wanted light finger foods for the event. I noticed the menu at The Chateau online, and decided to take a chance. Honestly,my visit was a testing experience to see if I liked the food. The service was great and the food made me smile. I willdefinitely make another trip to The Chateau. Good grilled cheese and their tater tots are amazing. Great lemon cake. Can often forget items in your take out. Some menu... favorites can disappear too. Their location is nice, parking is good. Loved the food. Ordered from their special list. Got lasagna. Came with a salad. Excellent portion size. Great... price. Handled an impromptu group of 10 with ease. (Was a Monday 1:30pm late lunch arrival.). Staffing short...but so iseverywhere else. This staff did a great job! Recommend this place. Read more
Place was pretty good, I ordered the trio - Chicken Parm, Alfredo, and Lasagna. Only one lacking flavor was the Alfredo, other... than that, very yummy. For an appetizer we ordered the calamari with spicy peppers, and dessert we had a slice of the Reese'speanut butter cup pie. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Read more
Wow! The first thing you notice is expensive prices. The portions were all big. The quality was good. I miss the fat-free... ziphendel dressing. It is gone. Service was good. Liked the seafood special of stuffed hadock! Read more
