Stopped by with my husband for supper and I ordered the chicken fried chicken. What I got was slightly burnt chicken with some... type of powdery water on top. I asked the waitress what it was and she said oh it comes with gravy to which I replied yeah Iknow I eat at a lot of Dennys ( we?re truckdrivers) but I ain?t never seen this. She said that?s what there?s looks likesometimes( well then sometimes the cook don?t know how to make gravy duh) She then said she could ask them to remake it withoutgravy but wasn?t sure they would. I told her I might as well keep it then. I tried to eat it but that mess was gross, evenscraping it off didn?t help. Wasted money as I got a cup of noodles and ate that in the truck. They have a great breakfast. My favorite is gravy and biscuits. They stay real busy because they are in a truck stop. Also they... have real good customer service, and the place is always clean and straight, and spotless. I would recommend it if you are everdown that way stop ???? in. Read more

So I ordered the super bird and I substitute the bacon for Avocados. The order was to go I get in the truck pull my curtains get... ready for bed and dinner. I open my to go lid the inside of the sandwich is black. Im thinking they put mushrooms on my stuffnope the Avocados where spoiled smelled funny and everything. Black spots on each and every one. My meal was extravagant looked great tasted awesome. I jumped right in on my broccoli right away I was disappointed it was... already cold. Brought to my table cold. But I wasn't gonna let that mess with me. I ate it as fast as possible. K just to getmy greens. I earned it. Potatoes were excellent. My toast was good. Garlic bread cold also. Bummer so I ate it with myeggs not awesome. Saving my steak for last cutting it all up to add to my eggs and potatoes also 4 slices of bacon only got2. No big deal I've got a big meal I'm still happy. Tried my first bite of steak. It was chewy and raw. Not rare it wasraw. A rare steak would be juicy and tender. Not raw and chewy. I tried to get over it I'll try a few more pieces. Nopeit's even raw at the bone. Medium rare it wasn't. Bloody raw. Likely cooked for 10 seconds on 1 side and 20 on the otherbarely seared on one side. I was disappointed and sick to my stomach. I hate to return food especially steak. But naw Icouldn't. I had to speak up. I got a 2nd steak still hungry for steak. No biggie I'll shake it off. 2nd steak Mediumrare... nope still rare. 20 seconds later they brought my steak back.... kinda quick but not thinking cool looks good. Everycut was no color no red. Tastes rubbery rubberized. Hmm did they put my steak dinner in the microwave... worst T-bone I've evertasted. Looked like beef liver. I sliced it up because I like to eat not cut eat cut eat. I was cutting to the bone nocolor. Texture was wrong like silly puddy rubberized. I couldn't believe it a good looking cut of steak cooked in themicrowave only explanation. Or it was thawed from being frozen a year. And barely cooked and microwaved. Um. I'm going toleave Dennys alone. I'll keep buying steaks at steak houses. Very friendly staff. Food came out piping hot and cooked to order....very tasty. This is a very clean restaurant. We didn't have... a wait time to be seated. The restrooms were very clean as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Read more
