Checked out this local to us place the other night and were overall happy with it. Nothing fancy but the service was attentive.... A good variety on the menu but we went with a combo for 2 ( basically what's called a molcajete in other places) and shoud behere being as that's what they served it in. But anyway as typical of protein served in a volcanic piping hot stone vessel theyjust overcook. That already being a given the food is plentiful, flavourful and welcome. They serve enough on the side withrice, beans, tortillas and guacamole that it was enough for the 2 of us. We brought a bottle of wine as it's a BYOB place buthere is a tip for anyone checking it out. Bring a bottle of rum or better yet tequila as they serve peach and strawberry bananafrozen drinks on-site which would mix perfect with a good spirit like those. We will be back for sure. Read more

Just popped in for a quick bite. The food was fresh and delicious. Service and prices on par with the quality. Excellent... authentic Mexican cuisine. Also nice that it's family owned and operated. You would be remiss if you don't give them a try. Read more

Nice small intimate setting. Food was delicious, especially the loaded fries. Sandwiches were cooked well and the ingredients... all fresh. It definitely had a family run feel and the service was quick and friendly. While it offered alot of seating, itdidn't feel crowded or noisy which is a plus!! Read more

We had take out tonite, Sunday?.dining room wasn?t open?..we had Enchiladas with steak and red sauce, Tostadas de Pollo, and... Chilaquiles Rancheros with the pork. We actually ate out in the car so we could eat it while it was still hot. First of alleverything was packed perfectly. The Tostadas are big and flat so they came in a good sized aluminum covered tray?..they wereperfect and delicious. The Enchiladas?5 of em with red sauce and black bean (fresh not canned) and rice?.also super tasty andwell done!!!! The Chilaquiles with pork and sunny side egg?.with green sauce?.was plentiful and the acidity of the green sauceagainst the fried egg was wonderful! Also there was just 2 of us but there was enough for 3 easily maybe even 4! This is a localrestaurant and I really commend them on their food value prices , the service and the food itself! Check it out?.we will bemaking this a regular place to go and get a great meal! Congrats to all! Read more

A nice little place with moderate food. We visited this place for lunch after our tiring hike from Wyanokie High point. Craving... for Mexican food was satiated but only disappointment was they didn?t have guacamole. We chose a Mexican restaurant mainly forthe guac and chips. That was a show stopper for us. For appetizers we ordered Coliflor Al Fuego. It was a decent steamed androasted little spicy starter. For the mains I ordered the Chilaquiles Rancheros. A pretty good dish with really good portion ofgrilled Chicken, runny egg, fried tortillas in red sauce topped with some cheese and rice & beans on the sides. Again in thisdish the rice was not fresh. It was cold and some grains were even dry. But apart from the rice I enjoyed all other items in myplate. Read more
