Decent burgers, friendly people, and great service. Amy was fun, playful and attentive. The meatloaf was good with a generous... portion of mashed potatoes and gravy. This is still a smoking establishment so don't be surprised when entering. Fridays looklike the night to go check out walleye, perch and tbones. We will be back. Read more

Stopped by when passing through from Valpo. Friendly place with ice cold beer, good food, and a friendly feel to it. Bartender... and cook were hot and fun to talk to, so that's always a plus. Enjoy America and eat local...you'll like it. Read more
Great people, good food, great prices
It is what it is and rated as such: for us, it's a regular standby for decent, well-priced bar food-- mostly the Wednesday taco... special and the Friday fish. It's clean and well lit, and strangers are welcome, just as so they aren't too strange. Read more

The staff and service was great. I was disappointed with the food though. I love bar food, but this wasn't even bar food! It was... more like little league consesion stand food. The burgers are frozen pre shaped patties with no flavor and full of filler! It'salmost the same texture and taste of a veggie burger. I had a chicken burrito and the chicken was bland and they smothered theburrito with yellow cheap nacho cheese sauce! I'm not talking melted veveta either, that might have been good. I'm talkingnasty, comes in a big can you open with a can opener and belongs on a hot dog or nachos kind of cheese. But the staff is great!And so are the customers.
