0 stars if I could. Really nice lady there tho. Pork skins were burnt in old oil yet soggy and rubbery. Think she just double... dipped it in the fryer. Chicken and rice was bland no flavor and dry. Over priced for Puerto Rican food that my polish motherin law can cook better. And I think before some one is accused of lying the owner should apologize for bad service. I understandthe owner wasn?t there and didn?t see how horrific this food was but the customer is always right and the pork skins were likeblack chewy boneless spare ribs from a Chinese restaurant. and like I said. Stopped by here for the first time since moving to town. I was really craving some Spanish rice and my hubby got himself a beef... empanada, both were very delicious!! The woman there was so nice, excellent service and food. We will definitely be back to trymore!! So good! Read more
The negative reviews on here are appalling. Every single time I come here the owner is absolutely delightful and the food is... consistently delicious and never burnt. I tried it the first time and was very happy with my Chicharones. So happy with it thatI went to work and told the guys about it and they wanted to try it. I went back and ordered for everybody and the owner was sopositive and uplifting. I returned with the food and everybody was extremely happy with how delicious it was. So delicious thatI?m sitting outside on another lunch run for myself and the guys at work. They pack plenty of food into your serving, the foodis never over cooked or undercooked. My family is Puerto Rican and they say it?s some of the best that they?ve tasted as well!It reminds them of how their mothers used to make it. These negative reviews should not deter anyone from coming here. It?sdefinitely an experience you won?t regret. It?s worth every penny. I am so happy I made the decision to randomly stop here oneday.
